- Location
- It was reasonably close to the areas we wanted to go to and had restaurants a block away. There was a parking facility next door that was reasonably priced. Our room was close to the elevator. They offered coffee in the lobby. Very nice, helpful sta
- clean, everything works, good price, nice people
Cons -
- Mold in the bathroom, stuffy/humid air in the room, SUPER noisy, housekeeping vacuuming at 7am and hitting the door
- Lot of outside noises - banging throughout the night. Very small elevator which was not quite level with floor - had to watch step about 1". Toilet paper roll almost too far from toilet. Small person or child probably could not reach it.

all good
Hotel did not give me a receipt for my stay or my $100 deposit. The afternoon front desk guy would not let me use the microwave. Only the graveyard front desk guy allowed me to use microwave. Very noisy outside in middle of night
Helpful gentleman at front desk to check in. Nice lobby. Price for two night stay in San Francisco was good. Refrigerator in room.
Coffee maker in room would've been nice.
You can tell it was remodeled.
Small beds, dirty, no conditioner, two pillows, thin blanket, scary elevator, run down area, nasty area.
Friendly staff, overall clean room
Neighborhood, lack of A/C
Staff was very helpful
Elevator only worked 1 day out of 3. Room floor creaked as if it were going to collapse into room below.
Very old and outdated, no air conditioning, very noisy,$30 to park in an unsafe area, broken ice machine only located in the creepy basement of the hotel. Many many homeless people laying around out front of the hotel, even urinating outside of the hotel.
....faulty elevator. This hotel is a joke and i would never advise anyone to stay here. We went to the Chelsea inn the next day and that was a so much better hotel.
Friendly staff, good character
I have never stayed in a hotel with walls so thin. I could clearly hear the conversations happening on both rooms around me... sounded like they were centimeters away. Same for hall noise-every door slam rattled the room. Neighborhood was vry sketchy.
The bed was nice and very comfortable. It was clean.
The location was bad. Also the elevator was broken. What if we were handicap and had a wheelchair. We wouldn't of been able to get up to our room and wouldn't of known about until we got there.
The staff were polite.
room was in extremely poor condition, extremely dated. It smelt and felt unclean and dusty. needs a deep clean and redecorating. The photos have been extremely edited and do not portray what this hotel really looks like. The location is also very unsafe.
The room was fine for 1 night. The bathroom was clean and good water pressure.
hotel is across from a homeless shelter and methadone clinic. The neighborhood is bad. There was no bottom sheet on the bed. There was an old contact lens on the pillow.
Walking distance of where we needed to be
A little dirty . Blankets , room etc
Available room
Location. Odors. Cleanliness and maintenance. Amenities. Ally full of loose trash next to my window. Cheap worn bedding and pillows.
I was in town on business for a 9:00 a.m. hearing at the federal courthouse nearby. I had forgotten a tie and no clothing stores opened before 10. The front desk very kindly found one for me to borrow. Saved the day. Thank you! Room was good for price.
My stay at this hotel was pleasant, The room was clean and had a mini fridge and a safe. The staff were o.k. but didn't make a difference because the price was very fair. I would definitely stay here again.10 min walk to union square.
I didnt like the area, there is a shelter across the street but it didn't intefere with us. We stayed the night and then went on our way during the day.
The staff were very helpful and nice.
The hotel is old and not in a very nice part of town. There was no hair dryer which in this day and age is ridiculous. I had to go buy one. The bathroom was not to my liking and the toilettries I would not even use. Wireless was useless basically.
Pictures on advertising. Turned out not what expect ed.
Tub had hair from previous guests. Room was very small. Screechy floors. Gaps in wall where water pipe a come in made aprehensive of possible critters. Lack of amenities. Located in worst area: lots of street noise, and felt unasafe when walking at night.
Nice boutique hotel.. No problems in the area, nice coffee shop nearby. Lobby was inviting. Room was large. We had an awesome corner room on the fourth next to the romantic "Monarch" sign down the side . Was upgraded to king bed because they ran out of qu
Tacky furniture. The medium sized refrigerator was leaking water from a spill inside ( from the last tenet?) the soap was icky and stingy amount and the towels were very thin and poor quality
