    Pros +

    • Deco
    • Amenities such as: beverage credit, complimentary champagne and cable car tickets. The staff was also very kind.
    • The rooms were nice and large. Great decor, luxurious feeling.

    Cons -

    • The hotel front door is too heavy. Professional politeness, but not warm.
    • The AC didn¿t work well and was noisy. The breakfast service during the week was *much* better than the weekend. On the weekend I t was painful waiting to be sat, there wasn¿t hot water for tea, the food quality and presentation was also not as good.
    • The hotel is next to a bar (620 Jones) which was playing loud music until midnight on a Saturday night. I couldn't fall asleep until after the music was shut down at midnight.

Beautiful rooms, great staff! Provided free bottled water and coffee in the lobby. Room was comfortable and stylish. Shower was excellent!

Its closeness to Union Square and its cleanliness. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The price for valet parking was very high. I understand paying to park but that was the highest amount I have ever paid in San Francisco.

    Nice architecture

No food. Beverage. Or snack $70/night parking

Several blocks from Union square. Convenient to use public transport. Friendly and kind staff. Large room, especially in SF. Free-wifi, in you have Marriot membership. Like other hotels in SF everything is old, but clean and well-managed.

Bed was too soft for me. Probably due to the memory foam mattress. No refrigerator - mini bar use only. Elevators are quite old. If your room is next to the elevator, you can hear the sound very well.

The front desk check-in lady couldn't have been more helpful. I arrived early (before check-in time), and she comped me breakfast in the restaurant, and worked hard to get a room ready for me early. She had a great sense of humor, also!

Tiny gripes: Restaurant seats very uncomfortable (for a tall person) low to the ground and seat too deep). Within first 30 minutes, 2 different hotel employees entered room after knocking but before I could respond probably result of getting room ea

The people were amazing! They had great brownies which always helps!

The elevators were abnormally tiny, I wanted a cot/rollaway bed and based on the small elevators they said they were not able to bring one. It was fine, we made due however it was a little disappointing as one employee had promised to find one for us.

I liked the location. The door man was helpful and he suggested he will try to get Alcatraz tour ticket charged 150$ per person.(we were 4 people so 600$ for us). I searched online and fined out it was 39.90$ per person. We almost paid 600$ for that.

I had medicine for my children which needs to keep in a refrigerator. I couldn’t use the one in the room. There was a sign that customers are not allowed to keep their personal items in this fridge. There was magnetic system which automatically charged

    Clean and updatws

The other guests on the floor were there in multiple rooms and weee making a lot of noise in the hallways and slamming doors.

    10BarryPosted on: 1-16-2019

Everything about the hotel is great other than the $64 with tax parking fee. Its over the top especially when you see $30 parking 25 feet up the street

Beautiful rooms, nice staff, great location.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 11-22-2018

The staff was very kind and accommodating. Felt very welcomed and comfortable

The elevators were experiencing issues but they didn't cause to much of a delay

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 11-21-2018

The hotel is in an excellent location. It is in the heart of the city and close to attractions and convenient to public transportation.

My room was small with a low popcorn ceiling. It was loud (outside as well as hallway noises). (Not 4 star) But I was most disappointed that I couldn't even change my trip dates even though the air quality was very unhealthy because of the wildfir

    2RobertoPosted on: 11-2-2018

We couldnt sleep. First they gave us a handicap room. Room was next to the elevator and it was very loud. Water pressure of the shower was very poor. Carpet floor was dirty

Service...all the staff were incredibly helpful. Very nice building and great little restaurant.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-21-2018

Really helpful staff. Gave me a room with a view on the 15th floor. Went well beyond my expectations.

I like the location very much. Easy to walk to Chinatown, Nob Hill, Fisherman's Wharf. The neighborhood is very down to earth and seems quite friendly.

    5KimberlyPosted on: 6-12-2018

Friendly Staff, very clean with large, bright, charming rooms.

The location , off Union Square, felt a little unsafe especially at night.
