Great location, feels safe for SF standards, good restaurants, shopping opportunities, cultural sights nearby.Easy check in. Cool motel vibe. In general, good value for SF standards.
- old hotel smell in the room. The carpets and walls have seen things.- shutters absolutely useless shielding against light, especially the overwhelming flashlight from the courtyards. Just why.- facilities and furniture feel flimsy, outdated, partly broken or of bad quality (our toilet flush hardly worked, broken parts of the cupboard, flimsy bathroom shelf, shutters get stuck easily, elevator quite dirty)- reality and expectations from the pictures and description did not really match, it looks a lot more modern and convenient than it is in reality (even taking into account that this is normal for advertising, of course)

The decor was beautiful. Interesting old style hotel located near the Golden Gate Bridge. Continental breakfast included excellent source of baked goods and good coffee. Room was very clean
I had booked the hotel because Booking stated it had parking . The hotel did not have parking onsite. We had to use a garage nearby (30$) .

The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. I liked the text option of communication with guest services. The gated parking put my mind at ease. Loved the breakfast.
There wasn't a fridge, microwave, or coffee maker in the room.

We had a great stay at Hotel Del Sol. The service was outstanding—friendly and helpful staff made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, close to great restaurants and walkable to many attractions. We especially appreciated that the hotel has its own parking lot, which made things much more convenient in San Francisco. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute hotel! Great location, close to some really good restaurants and a short drive from several famous places, and it was clean.
The TV was confusing with two remotes, so we had to ask how it worked. The picture quality was pretty bad too. Tiny bathroom. Housekeeping came by our room at 9am to ask when we were checking out but checkout wasn’t until noon.

Oscar in the front desk is so helpful and cheerful. Location is great if you are looking for close bus station and nice restaurants close to the hotel.
Bathroom is very small and old.
