Kimpton Alton Fisherman's Wharf

It was close to the pier

This is different NOT 4.5 star hotel. Small and room are really musty and smells. The AC is so loud.

Not worth the price. Should not have been rated higher than 4. The parking cost was ridiculous. $85.50 per night! You charged a mandatory 20% tip at the breakfast when it was not a tipping situation. They supplied no more service than a McDonald’s

Do Not book a Bay view room, it isn't worth the money. We paid for a bay view and couldn't see the water. We could see Alcatraz but mostly our view was of a parking garage, and a parking lot.

Room was cleaned every day. Staff were very accommodating free bottled water daily.

The room had a musty smell to it. The gym was very small and had limited equipment.

The location is perfect. Easy one block walk to the waterfront. Numerous places to eat and drink right out the door. No need for car which is good, parking is extremely expensive in this area. The entire hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

Can not think of a single thing. If you like coffee in your room just request a Nespresso, otherwise you must go to lobby for that first cup.

Easy walk to all the Piers was nice. Front desk people were nice and the social hour with beer and wine is nice, we chatted with several people which was fun.

An in room coffee maker would be nice, we did request one from the front desk to be sent to the room which is a service. Flavored creamers would ne nice too.

Proximity to things, quiet, in hotel restaurant

The hotel was nice and clean. Nice they have happy hour. Enjoyed playing with the record player

We did not enjoy the fact that toilet would not flush. Would have preferred a one or 2 cocktails versus wine/beer during happy hour. Unfortunately, RIU has better amenities. Sorry

I love Kimpton hotels. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating .

Smelled smoking on my floor other than that nothing bad to report.

In a very good location. All staff were very friendly, rooms were great and they went above and beyond to make my brothers birthday special.

They placed many false charges on the card they held for incidentals. I called them to get it fixed but they refused.

The Kimpton Alton is located right near Fisherman¿s Wharf. There is also a couple of bus/street car stops nearby. The staff was great, the room was La rge and comfortable, and it was spotless.

There is nothing that I didn¿t like.

Clean, comfortable bed, Happy hour and record player in room. Nice location with friendly staff.

No coffee in room but available in lobby.
