San Francisco Marriott Union Square

Breakfast was not worth the price. We had a bigger portion for a lower cost at a diner down the street.

The room was nice, and the restaurants were very close to each other. There was also a trolley pick-up right across the street. It was pleasurable for our 2-night stay.

The TV had an issue with the channels that the NBA playoffs were on, couldn't watch. 2nd night called about it, they sent the technician up, he couldn't fix it, and was going to call the company. We were to get a call back, and never did.

Great location, just a block or two away from Union Square, shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. Area felt relatively safe, given the well-known issues in SF. Highly recommend this hotel/location.

Staying in SF always comes with a substantial cost for parking. In this case, the Parking Fee is ~$70/night. There is also an additional Hotel Fee of ~$29 which can be recovered through various options (i.e. breakfast credit, trolley passes).

Hotel Staff was excellent. Room was great. Hotel is located in the heart of the Union Square area, about two blocks north of the Macy's building. Trolley is available just outside the hotel entrance. Plenty of restaurants, bars, etc., nearby.

Parking Fee is expensive, but that is the standard for San Francisco.

Overall the hotel looked clean but then we got to the rooms and the rooms were not super clean. You could tell the floors had not been mopped. Their cleaning staff is probably overwhelmed

The hotel is close to quite a lot of things, it¿s right in Union square so we loved that every thing was within walking distance!

We were stuck at the hotel for an hour after checking out bc they couldn¿t figure out if we had paid for parking. We had paid for parking, one car was charged to the room and the other we paid for at the front desk. It was a hassle and a waste of time.

The Marriot on Sutter St. is within walking distance to stores in Union Square and about a 5 minute walk to Chinatown. The main reason why we stayed at this hotel is because it is right across the street from the Philippines consulate (passport renewal).

Parking for this hotel is $--- a night so I decided to park at the Union Square parking garage which was $--- for overnight parking. It¿s not that far of a walk from the hotel.

Super clean. Safe. Fast check in and check out.

The front desk guy was rude and left me there unattended trying to check in around 10pm while he was looking at some guys phone which i 0thought wasnt very professional.

Hotel is not kid friendly at all! Staff are not friendly! The only friendly person was the guy who checked us in. The room wasn¿t very clean. When I asked for extra towels, I was told I needed to go down to front desk because they¿re too busy!

Clean, spacious rooms for downtown SF also with good views. Understaffed but they were very willing to help with anything you needed.

Have to pay for internet and business center use?!? Not really any amenities other than workout facility.

Rooms super small. The bed smelled like wet dog. Had to change the whole bedding but didn't help.

When we arrived (as anticipated, it was late in the evening), there were no rooms available. Why didn't they tell us earlier so we could have made other arrangements sooner? We had to stand there while the manager disappeared to find us another hotel.

Perfect for walking all around Union Square. Staff very helpful and advising regarding restaurants etc. Breathtaking views of the city from our room on the 25th floor.

No, the hotel was great. The only thing that gets you is the parking fees for your car.

World's smallest bathroom.....not good.....worst Marriott experience ever for a room. No bottled water available in the hotel for purchase. Had to walk across the street to Walgreens at 10:00 p.m.

Very small rooms. No fridge. Poor quality for the price they ask.
