Hotel Majestic

It was beautiful and elegant, quiet and peaceful. It is in unbelievably pristine condition for a hotel built in 1903, with perfectly painted detail work inside and out. The bar and dining room, lobby, and rooms were all tastefully decorated in Edwardian style. My three friends and I all had junior suites. We had done a stairway walk and explored a couple of neighborhoods, and the hotel was comfortable and welcoming at the end of the day. We walked to the Fillmore for dinner. It was a great birthday celebration! Highly recommend this hotel if you appreciate character and something different from the chain hotels.

The location is fantastic…. But DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The “King Suite” was absolutely FILTHY: we immediately reached out to the front desk and we were told there were “no available rooms” two days after check-in (we booked the suite for 7 nights) our T.V’s stopped working… We again reached out and we were told there were still “no available rooms.” The Manager (Amit) did little to NOTHING to address all of the issues. Needless to say it was a HORRIBLE experience and we will NEVER stay here again.

Hotel has a very luxurious and historic feel. Suites are exceptional. I was pleased with my stay and would recommend this hotel. Great value for money. Easy free street parking near major thoroughfares and Muni Rapid transit routes. Generous breakfast and bar. I really liked the bartender.

TV wasn’t good enough. It needed to be bigger and higher resolution. Was old and had fewer pixels than my laptop.

Lovely old hotel in a good location. Large very comfortable room with a great bed. Staff were very helpful particular thanks to Maria at the front desk and the barman John.

The hotel is a beautiful Victorian building. Our room was spacious, light, quiet and very comfortable.

I stayed at Hotel Majestic with my family and we absolutely loved it! The location is perfect — close to everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. But what truly made our stay special was the staff — incredibly kind, helpful, and always welcoming. We would definitely come back!
