- The location - it's three blocks from Union Square, close enough to be convenient to Powell Street and the shops around Union Square but far enough away so that it's quiet. Also, the staff - housekeeping, front desk, and dining - were unfailingly helpful.
- Exceptional breakfast buffet and happy hour which was included.
- Charming boutique with a little USMC museum of sorts. Also breakfast buffet. Nice high ceilings in the rooms.
Cons -
- More shelf space in the bathrooms would be better.
- It was sad and disturbing to see the large number of homeless people in the area.
- Old fashioned bathrooms.
