Centrally located for our scheduled tour pickup point.

No air conditioning, breakfast, or closets

Location was close to the Muni stop (Union - Van Ness) and within driving distance to all major attractions within the city. Parking was free but might get a bit tight for a large car. There was no breakfast despite being advertised on the site.

No breakfast, tea/coffee maker in the room. Also, had to ask for a microwave and iron during check-in. Owner was most gracious to provide both as well as an electric kettle to brew our tea in the room.

Very friendly people in a good location.

Everything was clean but it looked really really old. Things were rusted in the bathroom and it looked like it hadn't been updated in at least 40 years.

Hotel was centrally located and close to two main bus lines. The staff was very friendly and let us store our luggage after we had checked out so we could sight see for a few more hours.

The rooms were very clean but they are a bit dated. That would be my only negative. Bathrooms were good.

Staff at the front desk were just super nice and helpful. Great location, right on Union Street, and the Union neighborhood.

Old, super small room; other guests too noisy in the early am hours; rain soaked, flooded outdoor hallways; stairwell carpet should be replaced.

Parking is tight. They guarentee 1 space per room. The room has a shower only but decent pressure. The shower is a little small. Bed was firm but not uncomfortable. Bus stop outside hotel take you to coit tower and pier 39.

Couch looked a little dirty. Bed Pillows were comfortable but small. The walls did seem thin but there was not a lot of noise while we were there.

Room furniture could use an update

The staff were really friendly and the hotel is located near a lot of places to eat and drink. The only downside was the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors. However, I'll definitely book here again.

Mike at the front counter is the BEST! He was very friendly and helpful. It is an older hotel but it had exactly what we needed. FREE PARKING, clean room, hot water for showers, quiet at night, great location, budget friendly, and great staff! We felt very safe here. Will be back!
