    Pros +

    • Just that it was clean.
    • It’s being remodeled so things are new and that’s nice. Could use new towels. The WiFi was good...tv channels- ok
    • Location was central to where I needed to be. TV and channel selection was best I’ve seen in a while.

    Cons -

    • Yes, no bedspread, no lamps, no phone, no ice,1 set of towels for 2 people.not worth the money.no table.it was bad.
    • When we arrived we were charged more than our original booking price. We were told we did not have a choice. It was very late and we did not have the energy to find another hotel and rebook
    • Active construction site, unpainted plaster patches all over the walls, gross carpet, weak shower, train runs right in front of it. No parking spaces were open, had to park in the surrounding neighborhood. Had to call to get someone to come to the office.

The train....that’s what’s messed up ...it is right there ...pretty much just steps away. It’s so loud.

Location was central to where I needed to be. TV and channel selection was best I’ve seen in a while.

Older man at the desk was rude. I walked out my door and he asked for my key. Didn’t ask if I was checking out or not. Carpet was quite dirty looking. Cloth shower curtain - why? No lock on bathroom window. 1-story facility. Under construction.

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-12-2017

They had a vacancy...but now I know why.

Bathroom window was open on 1st floor...security risk. Bath mat had several holes in it. TV channels didn't even include CNN, Bloomberg, CNBC, MSNBC, Foxnews or any sports channels.

The staff was very helpful, enjoyed the young mans outgoing personality.

Although they were remodeling, the comforters should be replaced as we found what appeared to be cigarette burn holes in the comforters in all three rooms we occupied.

The staff were very friendly. Room was small but renovated. Bathroom very clean. Basic, no frills, but it did the job and it felt sanitary.

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-24-2017

Inexpensive, shower and bed were okay.

The office was empty and it took 20 minutes for someone to arrive and give me a key, while standing in a sketchy neighborhood. The room was then incredibly hot and there was no information to get online, etc.

The family room we stayed in was remodeled.

It was not bad, but for a family room, it was supplied with only 2 flimsy bath towels, one wash cloth and one hand towel. The parking lot was full of non running autos. It was located in a sketchy part of town.....

Room recently renovated. New owners are fixing up the place. Room small but perfectly fine. For the money and the location, a great deal. Well lit property. Felt safe. Near railroad tracks, but didn't bother me. Plenty of conveniences nearby. Wifi great

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-9-2016

The room itself was actually pretty nice. The outside was very well lit which made it feel a lot safer in that particular area. And it was close to all of the surrounding cities like San Francisco and San Jose.

The area did not seem like the safest area especially at night, so it felt a bit unsafe. And the outside of the hotel looked very shabby and was under construction.

    Quiet room, comfortable bed

No tissue paper in the room. Had to go to office to get a roll of toilet paper for the room. Had to park on the street because there were not enough parking spaces on the hotel parking lot. Hotel is undergoing renovation.

Clean and updated. Under construction. Felt secure. Next to the train but didn't notice it too much.

I was working a lot. Not there much.

The motel is being remodeled by a new owner who cares about the motel. I Stayed in the 3 person suite, newly remodeled. Everything was top notch. Outside of motel looks a little run down, but again, the construction guys are working on that too.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-27-2015

The best motel in the area for the money, recently renovated and it's kept pretty clean. Close to downtown redwood and the 101.

    3MaxPosted on: 10-27-2015

There was no telephone. There were no lamps in the room. Outdated television. No alarm clock set up. The front door had patched drywall around door jam. The Amtrak train track was directly across the street. No access to restaurants or snacks at all.

    6Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-6-2020

The room itself suited my needs very well.

The front desk system needs improvement. They do not monitor it well enough and you don't know if somebody will be there or not.
