Best Western Porterville Inn

Clean, large rooms and great staff.

Staff was rude and tolerated excessive drinking out in the parking area right in front of the doors into the hotel. I did not feel safe having to walk by a group of drunk construction workers in order to get into the hotel

The room, breakfast and pool

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The two ladies setting up the food in the breakfast room were so accommodating, letting us in the room early so we could get coffee. The breakfast offerings were phenomenal, from every possible carb to high protein

The hotel was was a good option to stay at. The location was good as it was right off the highway. The staff were great, very friendly and easily approachable. The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight.

The moment we walked in, I got a hint of urine smell. In the morning when I woke up, the urine smell was much stronger. I then realized the bathroom floor was wet and the toilet was leaking. I called to report the incident and reminded them at checkout.

Yes the price. The bad roads leading in and out of the Hotel.

There was bugs in our hotel. And had to switch rooms. And there was a high deposit.

The manager was very disrespectful to one of the girls who worked for him. The dinning area was disgusting & filthy dirty.Everything was empty waffle dispenser,condiments, napkins, plates??? The manager was more interested in his cell phone than his job!!

Great Staff both checkin and room service! Breakfast was good and great clean pool we did use. Very hot during our stay so pool was nice! Aldi¿s and a Subway right across the street!

Only con as others have mentioned rooms are in need of updating but very clean and bed very comfortable! Mini fridge and microwave in room!

We were attending a family event in Strathmore, and this was close, comfortable and clean.

Location

The walkways had a debris (leaves palm branches dirt). Gave the appearance it was abandoned. Needs to be remodeled like the one in Porterville where we stayed the night before.

The man at the front desk actually yelled at me in a hostile tone. I am a woman and this was very unnerving to me. I'm not sure what country he came from, but that is NOT how American customer service works.

Proximity to the wedding venue called Springville Ranch. A pretty 20 min drive away.

The guy at the front desk was extremely rude to me. I will never stay here again. The Holiday Inn right next door was so much better on customer service.

Yes the first night are ac didn't work and we didn't get to move rooms tell the morning the owner was very rude and refused to give me a discount and the breakfast was in a paper sack like they serve you in prison

It was close to where I needed to be.

No housekeeping ever came by for 5 days to ask if we needed anything. No one told us we would not have breakfast service either. No one told us we would be emptying our own trash and cleaning room during the stay. The telephone line was cut .

I was very disappointed in there cleanness, my stay was for 3 days and not once did housekeeping changes my sheets and towels.. and at checkout was charged $80 for a stain on sheet, that was not even tried to wash .. we take my business elsewhere.

They locked me out of room even though it was pet friendly. They went into my room after my stuff was inside. They also charged me 250 penalty and pet fee. Im total 550.00 for two days i was not allowed to stay in. RUINING MY VACATION and cutting it short

Very good breakfast and very quiet room.

Good price for what is offered.

The breakfast room was blocked off down a main hallway. Only AFTER we had gone out in the rain to reach a poorly labeled exterior door did the staff open the hallway door, even though the time was 45 minutes past opening for breakfast.

The first room we were checked into did not have a functioning bathroom. We were moved to another room and could not regulate the temperature and our socks literally turned black from the floor. The hotel was under construction during the stay.
