Pros +
- The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We checked in an hour early. The room had plenty of clean towels. We only stayed one night as this was not our final destination. Staying one night was fine.
- It is very clean with great rooms and staff.
- The location ¿¿ is the only thing about this hotel.
Cons -
- The room was really cold and musty. The sofa that had the pull out bed did not look very clean. The breakfast provided was pretty tasteless but they kept the area clean.
- The motor races nearby are very loud and the breakfast food was not restocked timely.
- The hotel had a musty, smell of mold, and the mattresses were all soiled with yellow and dark brown stains. We looked at four different mattresses were soiled with large stains. management stated that this was acceptable and I was just looking for issues.

I chose this hotel because it was different from most in that it is in a historic building. For me, that was the best part. I enjoyed the remnants of its past. It was also fairly close to downtown Petaluma which is a great place to visit.
Check-in staff could be welcoming. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I awoke with a stiff/sore back and neck. Paper-thin walls - guests above woke us several times. The bathroom floor {and wall!} were littered w/another guest's hair - not clean!
Staff very helpful Room clean and comfortable
Pillows in room are terrible. Need something other than down pillow
We really enjoyed talking to front desk staff. They were very friendly and helpful. They gave us suggestions on restaurants, gave us valuable information on Point Reyes. No reception, download maps. If they didn¿t tell us, we would have been lost.
Another thing we loved was continental breakfast. They had potatoes, eggs, sausages, not just some muffins and fruits. Waffles were the best. Oh yes, the staff shared a bit of history of the building which used to be a silk mill, which made it special!
I loved that it was a refurbished old factory with history. And it was perfectly located within walking distance of the family I was visiting. Staff was friendly and helpful. And there was a lovely breakfast every morning with a lot of choices.
Super cute, friendly staff, location
Rooms next to the fitness center are noisy, can hear people running, singing to themselves. Not a great thing to be awakened by that. A friend stayed in the room next door to the fitness center and she was awakened at 6:30 am
Unique place
I did not love the bed. I found it be really uncomfortable and the springs were loud.
We have stayed here 4 times in as many months. The room was clean upon arrival. Breakfast always nice. It is a convenient location and staff to be friendly.
Our room was never cleaned, although Thursday was the scheduled day, nor clean towels unless we requested. "short staffed" was the excuse. Only cleaning for "new guest'. It is a shame! Our 4th time and likely the last, unfortunately.
Friendly staff, beautiful hotel, comfortable beds, good breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
The hotel was easy to find, super clean and the staff was extremely sweet & helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean, updated & had great water pressure. The hotel is also very close to downtown area where restaurants are.
The King bed room was a little smaller than expected, but since we were not at hotel much it was not a big deal.
Loved this place! Very quaint hotel. Historic building with a lot of charm. Very comfortable beds and a decent breakfast included eggs, bacon, potatoes, make your own waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt and oatmeal.
Room was a little small but it worked just fine for me.
Such a cool building!! Decent location to get to downtown Petaluma, other then that kind of in the middle of no where. Not a great view, but seriously cool hotel and rooms and interior where really nice. Comfy bed!!!
Breakfast was gross!! I never throw away food and my mom and I did and then went to Acre coffee.
The building. It was an old silk mill.
No pool or jacuzzi. Small rooms.
History and decore
