Southern California Beach Club features a private Pacific Ocean beach and one-bedroom condos with private balconies and kitchenettes. It is less than one mile from California Surf Museum. One-bedroom condos at the resort offer free Wi-Fi and cable TV. They provide dining areas and seating areas with sofa beds. The kitchenettes include dishwashers, microwaves and refrigerators. Ceiling fans are provided in the bedroom and kitchen. Southern California Beach Club offers guests a barbecue area. It also has laundry facilities. The resort is within 7 miles of Carlsbad Strawberry Company and Legoland California. It is 11 miles from Sky’s the Limit Ballooning Adventures and is 13 miles from San Diego Botanic Garden.

- Very misleading ad. Thought we were on the beach. Couldn't even see the beach from our room.
- Clean and good location
- Ocean view
Cons -
- Elevator broke down, had to walk up and down stairs. Pretty tough for 80 year olds.
- Parking
- I didn't like the fact we didn't get any sleep. Neighbors upstairs sounded like they were doing construction all night. It really sucked!!
