Location, courteous staff, amazing breakfast!!!

Seems more run-down since last visit - furniture had stains (need to be steam cleaned), our room (room 6) had light switches that needed new bulbs or didnt work, rust on bathroom vanity. Little details that if paid attention to elevate the stay

Exterior was very beautiful.

Room was dark, didn't look like photos. Bathroom very small and old.

Check in time only between 4 and 6 pm.Breakfast starts at 8 am.

Room was so awful we did not stay, we lost $2k but that was the better option than staying there

The room in this hotel was so awful we did not stay, the property is located in a residential areaWe had paid in advance and never received anything back for the 4 night stay, the money was taken out a few days before our arrival even though it should have been taken out on arrival, however after seeing the accommodation I can understand why they took the funds out prior to arrival We called straight away and complained and asked for alternative accommodation and was told there would not be anyone to deal with this until the following morning, we left and found alternative accommodation, I emailed the property and they have not respondedI have stayed in numerous guest houses and hotels over the years and review most properties if you look at my history it is very rare I have had the need to give a poor review left a review like this before

Beautiful house in a good location.

Facilities are a bid dated. The whirlpool is dirty and the entrance smells a bit weird. overall it was clean but a dressing gown from a previous guest wasn’t removed from our room. Staff was alright but also not helpful. Overall it’s a good location to explore Napa but nowhere we would stay again.

The location is not ideal on a dimly lit street in a less than desirable area

close to town, shopping, restaurants ; was quiet; daily happy hour is a good concept.

breakfasts could have been better - no decaf coffee option in dining room, hot water for teas wasn’t hot, food not high quality nor was it kept hot.

The facilities were not well maintained. The fruit out at happy hour was moldy. The pool and hot tub were dirty.

we liked everything.

The house is really gorgeous, friendly staff. We loved the wine and cheese, crackers and fruits, olives and pickles at 5pm. The entire house is beautifully furnished, the backyard is lovely, and we had a relaxing time at the pool.

The pool and the hot tub really need a fresh coat of paint. We booked a room with three beds, as we are traveling with our daughter, but the room we got was at the third floor, and it was really hard to carry a heavy suitcase three flights of stairs. The room was obvious a remodeled attic, with no windows other then a small tiny attic type of window, so we were a bit sad that we didn't get the chance to stay in one of the original rooms: they are probably gorgeous.

Loved the daily breakfast service and wine hour at the end of the day. Staff was always friendly and willing to answer questions. Located in downtown Napa, very close to many restaurants. Also accessible to the highway to get to other parts of Napa.

Nice, older building with a history that is shared in a welcome tour by the GM, cabanas at the pool, familiar atmosphere, cosy roof apartment, the hotel is lovingly run, complimentary afternoon snack & wine

The White House Inn is so dreamy! Straight out of a movie. Beds were so comfortable! We enjoyed the breakfast offered as well as happy hour drinks at 5pm by the pool. I'd love to come back here. The place is near Napa downtown, about a 10 min walk to restaurants and tasting rooms. Great stay!

The location was excellent. The breakfast wasn’t great so we went out to eat in one of the local cafés after the first day.

The staff were grumpy (when seen) and we had to ask for the room to be made up. A staff member also expressed concerns that another had COVID and decided to continue to come to work rather than isolating. Perhaps the reason they were all so grumpy??

Architecture of the property. Bed was very comfortable and facilities were clean. Greeting staff friendly coming and going.

First sign you see is how they aren’t responsible for stolen items from your car... not encouraging. Algae in the hot tub, astroturfing, uninspiring breakfast of mediocre scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes without fresh fruit or bread, strange room furniture arrangements blocking window with oversized headboard leaning inward. $3 Fuji water in room (how much was the nightly rental?!). Celebrating 20th anniversary without any personal touch, no wine left in room or remaining for alleged evening tasting, etc…
