AC Hotel by Marriott Downtown Los Angeles

Great location, room was clean & well maintained. Friendly staff.

Poor internet connection.

Staff seemed very happy, polite, and helpful. Service with a smile always. Corner room was great, great view, it was very clean when we arrived, and not a huge room but just plenty enough for two people for two nights. Place was about as luxury as you'll get for 280-300 per night, pretty sleek. Plenty especially since we didn't lounge in the room for too long, mostly out and about anyway. Bed was quite comfortable, TV was easy to navigate. There are a lot of restaurants nearby in the building, we tried 33 Taps and it was a little pricey but had solid margaritas, wings, and fries, and was convenient. The hotel had everything we personally needed though.

Took me a moment to figure out how to operate the sink, but that's more of a me issue. We stayed on some early weekdays, and unfortunately all but maybe two of the 7-10+ restaurants/bars in the building are ONLY open on weekends plus maybe Thursday if lucky, which meant we had to go all the way outside on the first floor to get some food and drink, and we didn't get to see how good all their restaurants are. The room was just slightly pricey for what it was and what amenities were available but we did get the corner room and DTLA is a relatively central location to what we came for. Also valet is 60ish a night if I remember correctly and not the easiest to spot immediately. Little bit of a wait on the attendant as well. The lobby is on the 34th floor, valet drop off is on the 1st, and pick up is on the 2nd, and there are two sets of elevators that go to different floors. Not intuitive for navigation.

The staff was amazing. The room was spacious and clean.

I was bummed that more of the restaurants on level 8 were not open.

a little strange since there´s another hotel, many bars and night clubs at the same building. and besides you get at the hotel and the reception in on the 34th flor and there´s no visual signs for that, your car stay at the street level but you get it on the 2nd flor and to get to your rooms, you have to change to another elevator when you´re on the 34th floor! we´ve asked the chekin if we had beakfast included, they said no but in fact there was - we didn´t have it!

Absolutely amazing stay! The service was exceptional, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious every single morning. A huge thank you to the staff for the stunning city view — it made our experience truly unforgettable! Highly recommend this hotel.
