Holiday Inn La Mirada - Buena Park by IHG

The in-house restaurant serves breakfast till noon.

The AC in our room was dieseled powered, at lest it sounds like it is. Yeah it was loud, but ice cold. Needed to turn it off to be able to hear the flowing sounds of interstate 5 traffic.

Close by the freeway but far enough to enjoy less traffic noise. Near by restaurants, comfortable beds, clean rooms.

This is my go to spot when needed. The Staff is always so nice…shout out to hotel employee for always being so kind and making sure we have everything we need. The rooms are always very clean and the fridge and microwave make my stay even better.

No grab bar in the tub, almost fell.

this is one of the nicer places we have stayed for awhile. we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, and found everything to be in great working order. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

Location to the event we attended.

The room we were assigned smelled bad. They sent a cleaning staff member to spray the room. They sprayed the room, but it just masked the smell. They changed our room the filtering day.

Every staff member I interacted with from multiple people at the front desk, to the cleaning staff, and to the cafe operator did a great job of hearing needs/requests and doing what was within their power to meet or exceed my request! Fantastic staff!

We rented two rooms. At first we received two wheelchair accessible rooms. Both beds were unbearably soft. I made a request for a new room and we loved the second one! In the second room, though, the tub had stains and paint was chipping off.

Sheets were not clean. I kept getting tangled in hair under the comforter, it was disgusting.

Pool

It was dirty (pizza crust 2 days after arriving behind sofa chair).Rugs are really dirty (room and lobby). The bathroom floor was extremely slippery; banged my left arm to avoid tripping onto tub. The entire hotel needs a makeover.

Elevators were not working during my full stay; and they had big group of tourists checking Inn. Did not seem they were working to resolve the problem

Started charging for parking. No where near any main attractions. No need to charge for overnight parking.

Conveniently located near Disneyland. Pool and hot tub are nice. Daily housekeeping is welcomed.

Was charged $11/day for parking which came as an unwelcome surprise given I chose this hotel for free parking. Wifi was terrible, very weak signal that kept cutting in and out. No hair dryer provided. Rooms are dated, several minor aesethic issues.

The staff was very helpful and the breakfast very good.

Hours for the pool are limited. 8am-8pm. After a long day of activity we would have enjoyed a soak in the hot tub but the pool was closed by the time everyone got back :(
