Motel 6 Inglewood, CA

Not the best area. Homeless people everywhere. They were sleeping on the pathways to our room and in the parking lot. They were super loud running around and banging on things all night long. Our room was clean but the smell of the cleaners the used were so strong we could barely breathe. My husband also woke up with some crazy rash on his hands and feet as well.

The room was clean and the staff was nice.

They don't have bathtubs. Parking was tight. There are no microwaves in the rooms. The TV has limited options. The bed was mediocre. The chair was not made for large people either. And the price per night was not worth the room.

I liked that I was able to check in early and that I was close to LAX and SoFi Stadium. The water in the shower got hot quick, and the shower control couldn’t have been easier to use. New Millennium Pizza is a two minute walk from the motel and tasted great; they’ll even give you paper plates and napkins to take with your pizza!

Pretty much everything else. Poor odor in the room, and other guests smoked weed and cigarettes in the vestibule, causing it to pour into our room through the air gaps in the door. Hairs were found in half the towels. The floors were dirty and had 3 soft spots. The shower needs recaulked and was super slow to drain. The beds were terrible but to be expected at Motel 6. The key cards didn’t work the first 3 attempts every time we tried entering.Hands down the worst part of the experience was the constant stomping we heard literally all hours of the night. You’d think dinosaurs were well and alive the way the guests upstairs were walking and running. It’s also very clear that a lot of guests live here, possibly due to being displaced from recent fires. We got zero sleep, which isn’t fun when you need to be at LAX by 6 am. It was not just our experience either. The guests next to us left in the middle of the night after the office addressed the awful smell in their room with a febreeze can.We would never under any circumstances return to this motel. If it weren’t in such a ran down area that looked untrustworthy, we would’ve slept in our rental car.
