This motel is located just 7 minutes' walk from Sunset Beach and 6.8 mi from Huntington Beach Pier. Free WiFi access is available in all guest rooms. Please note that we do not have an elevator. Also, that all rooms are on the second and third floors. A flat-screen satellite TV is included in each air-conditioned room at Surf City Inn. A microwave, compact refrigerator and private bathroom with hairdryer are also provided. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including cycling and windsurfing. The property offers free parking. Front desk is available from 7:00am to 10:00pm. The Sand and Beach is 7 minutes' walk away. Los Angeles International Airport is 24 mi away. Numerous cafes, bars and restaurants are within walking distance of this motel.

Beds were very comfortable.
VERY friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed, wonderful view. Free, covered parking if there early enough.

Cons -

I booked the room for cleanliness and rate. The cleanliness did not meet my expectations. Older furniture no problem but black hair in sink and other places throughout room.
The staff/owners were very rude. We ended up leaving and not staying there.
No elevator! Not handicap accessible!There is definitely a flight of stairs that you have to climb even tho in Cali terms the second floor is actually the "first floor".Vending machine is out of order so have water and soda available for your own stay.

Beds were very comfortable.

Stairs to third floor a bit of a pain, but no problem with a smallish bag for a healthy individual.
