Comfort Inn Castro Valley

Pros: -Staff -Location (close to hwy,bart,hospital,restaurants,bars,gas station etc) -Pool -Cofffee -Parking

Cons: -No toilet in lobby or hallways , only in rooms!( one of us endend up in bathroom all the time and there was no way to go for other person besides restaurants down the st) -not a lot of trashcans -no enough shampoo -location(close to noisy neighbor)

Felt safe and welcome. Staff was very accomidating.

I didn't love that I had to ask for so much from the staff--pool towels, regular towels because we were short a set, traffic noise.

I did not need an assessable room, but I do use a cane. They gave my friend and I an assessable room, close easy to get to, and an amazing set of bars in the bathroom, making it very easy to take a bath.

Maneuvering in the parking lot was difficult

It's our 5th times to checked in that Hotel. Always satisfied with the rooms, amenities and good service with all the staff.

My only concern is the availability and visibility of a security guard/s specially during night time.

It was clean and the staff was nice And they left you alone But breakfast was OK

The pool was closed They didn't sell little things you needed Like toothbrush Tylenol

The housekeepers were wonderful.

The bed was very uncomfortable and hard. Unable to get a goods night sleep. It also appeared that people are living permanently like a Hotel 6. The breakfast was the same everyday. our stay was 7 days. A change up on the meat and or fresh fruit.

The staff were all very nice and honest about how bad the hotel is and why I should not stay there

The staff talked me out of staying there, letting me know of the dangers in the neighborhood and the probability of bed bugs due to primarily homeless guests. Windows were broken and boarded up, rooms had massive stains and smoke smell. Truly disgusting.

The ease of making the Reservation and Location were the Major Factors when choosing this Comfort Inn. The Room was Very Clean and the Staff were most patient and friendly with us. Breakfast was Delicious and there was a well provided variety.

NO Indoor Pool, but we enjoyed the outside pool. A Jacuzzi is needed,as well.

Bewear . We had stay here the week before and didn't know I was double charged for the room . When we check in this time I was again being double charged but my credit card co. caught it. So they locked up my card. The next day they tried to do it again.

Clean and the cleaning staff was courteous

Front desk staff not friendly at all. Scrambled eggs were horrible, advice you to change brand Pillows were dense and hard to sleep on

needs a new mattress. the springs in mattress were discomforting

2 of the rooms I had during the week of my stay had bugs in the bed so I was extremely uncomfortable after that could not sleep well at all!!!

Convenient location, price was reasonable, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Spaciou rooms, good lighting, clean, comfortable bed, refrig, microwave, coffee maker all were great, nice desk chair, coffee in lobby available 24 hrs aday, friendly efficient maid service, good wifi, large bathroom countertop, quiet, covered parking.

Staff was quick, friendly helpful when ensuring my credit card would be charged ahead of time before family arrived.Staff was also effective in helping me secure an overnight guest pass for my car over a phone call,since I couldn't go downstairs in person

Hallway spelled peculiar like smoke and body odor. (2nd floor)

The location

The nighttime noise was occasionally more than I was used to on previous visits. The door slamming after 11:00 PM is, to me, inconsiderate, especially when it just continues. Also, it really would have been nice if the pool had been open.

It was close my daughter¿s home. We were visiting her family.

The room overlooked an industrial business that was ver close. They backed in trucks and unloaded large loud equipment before and after the sun came up. Very loud, uncourteous part people in the hallway and then in the room next door. Loud booming base m
