Surrounded by large flower gardens, this lodge offers a seasonal outdoor pool from May to October. Carmel-by-the-Sea is 15 minutes’ drive away. - great staff
- The staff was so helpful and caring.
- Location & nice continental breakfast
Cons -
- room was shabby and unsuplied.
- No coffee in room ( but staff made coffee for us in the office)
- The smell, stale trying to be masked by cleaning products. The heater did not work and it was 44 degrees Two large spiders ran across the bed The staff was rude when we checked in and did not believe that we had already been charged for the room
