The view. Breakfast daily. The hot tub. Very short walk to the beach.

Could have used a light in the entry way.

Great location across from Moonstone Beach. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean, comfortable and updated. View of ocean from several points on property with plenty of outdoor chairs and fire pits. Loved the picnic basket breakfast delivery!

Beds and room. Location

One night some people were having a get-together at a fire-pit by our room. Woke us up. I called the hotel management, but after 9 PM there is no manager at the hotel. I got a manager on the phone in some other location. It took them 40 minutes to come

Beautiful location. While the Coast Highway is closed to through traffic, traffic here is at a minimum. It was good to support the local tourist economy and take advantage of the quietness.

The pool heater was not functioning.

This is a charming hotel - it hits the mark on all levels: cleanliness, cuteness, great free breakfast, good cookies at registration, nice size room. All great!

Sadly, this wonderful hotel was staffed by a very grumpy pregnant woman. I understand that pregnancy can be uncomfortable but she was totally humorless. I couldn't get her to crack even the smallest smile when we checked in. Bad first impression.

Location - right on beach. Breakfast in a basket delivered to your room each morning. This was a basic hotel in a great location.

Room had a musty smell Fireplace in room doubled as room heater. It made a lot of nose.

Cute place. Very friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable with a gas-burning fireplace. They deliver breakfast in the morning via a picnic basket. Rise early and walk across the street for beautiful stroll on Moonstone Beach. Nice pool and hottub too.

We especially loved the video we took of the ants crawling around inside the refrigerator.

Breakfast not served at office as stated in brochure. Went to the office to inquire told it would be delivered but were not notified when it arrived. In addition the 2nd morning did not receive any breakfast were told they threw away our order ticket.

The Sea Otter Inn has a great location. Small lobby but coffee, tea and cookies were available on our arrival. The Mgr. is very nice and accomodating. Breakfast Basket was tasty and quaint.

Rugs are a difficult furnishing to keep clean. It would seem at some point a wet/dry shampoo vac could be develop to kepp carpet cleaner.

The room is the perfect size for two people. The beds were comfortable. The best part about the room was the fireplace. It kept the room toasty throughout the night. The breakfast buffet was good and easy to access.

Clean, easy check in,free and good parking. Nice beds and sheets. Near beach! Breakfast was set up so you ate in the room and it was a nice selection and coffee was not bad!

Highway noise, thin walls so could hear the folks next door. Poor water pressure.

Great locale... right on the beach in a quaint town full of art and great restaurants. Price was great (we booked last-minute on a weekday) and we liked everything about this place. Staff was very friendly and there's even free continental breakfast.

The breakfast was bad. Rolls were very stale and tasteless

Windows had screens and opened onto communal areas. Other windows( on side that provided privacy) didn't open at all. No cross breeze. Traffic was very noisy.
