Creekside Inn Downtown - Cambria

Balcony overlookingl oak studded ravine down to a creek, thus the name.

Well kept grounds, super clean room, comfy mattress, great location, quiet.

It was a great hotel...nice and clean. The staff were great and it is close to everything. We had a room with a balcony by the creek and at night you can hear the choir of frogs and crickets. We definitely will be returning to this little gem.

Newly renovated motel that didn't miss any corners. we greatly enjoyed the balcony overlooking the creek. Within walking distance of town.

The front desk waited for us to check in almost close to 10pm. She was very nice & accommodating. Room we got was on the second floor, very clean & modern with a great view of the creek & hill. Bed & pillows were clean & comfy.

The staff makes a big difference. Service is excellent, room is very clean so we will definitely come back.

I was traveling home from Southern Calif. and it was easy to find the hotel.

It did not have the ability to serve a continental style breakfast.

Newly remodeled, so it's in tip-top shape. The front desk person was efficient and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

It's walking distance to a number of shops and restaurants, but you have to know that some shops and restaurants are actually a mile or so away, which means you may need to drive to them rather than walk.

Clean with comfy bed.

Needs to dim outside lights near room.

It is an average hotel. We do not spend a lot of time in the room just for sleep and shower. It was good for that. We usually stay there. The price is usually very good.

Staff was great. Hand delivered blankets.

Beds below par. Bed covering similar to a sheet which is weird for winter. I guess they think that's ok because a heater is in room. Soap is terrible scratchy quality.

Location,cleanliness,staff was nice, charming from the outside.This property has alot of potential. There is something to be said about stepping back in time a little.

Beds were "potato chipped",feel and hear the springs. Just didn't meet 3 star expectations. Overall, Comparitevly speaking,price is steep for what you don't get, however, it is probably in line with the tourist demand in this area.

The Creekside Inn staff were very helpful and changed our booking to a larger room at the last minute at our request. They returned phone calls immediately. Conveniently located. We walked downtown for breakfast both mornings.

No frills. Clean. Balcony viewing woodsy stream very nice.

Worlds smallest hand soap bar provided.

Location was half way between San Francisco and LA.

It was simply a room with 2 beds, no microwave or refrigerator.

Very friendly staff. Loved the location. Walking distance to everything in town. Clean room with big bathroom.

Lighting can be better. Beds are very firm.

Room was clean and neat. The soap/shampoo dispenser was very good (I have one at home) Great view from room #8. Everything worked and free WIFI was good, too. Continental breakfast was unexpected. Well priced, too.

Comforters on beds are dated. Get rid of them. I tightened a loose faucet knob on bathroom sink. A bit of a continuous hum from ice/vending machine was present. Beds could use mattress toppers as they are a bit hard.
