Blue Dolphin Inn

The ocean breeze coming in the window at night makes for a very calming sleep! The staff were very nice.

The bed, and pillows are ready for replacement; the smoke alarm went off 3 times during the night for no reason, and the toilet paper is really terrible! The fake fireplace is quite cheesy :(

It is located in the middle of Moonstone Beach Drive, this is nice since it is a couple of motels down from the Moonstone Bar and Grill. It is not far from Cambria's main street. Room was nice size and the bed was comfortable.

Location and nice seating areas.

Other then waiting 45 minutes for our room to be ready. It¿s was a great location! The staff was apologetic for the inconvenience. We had a Pleasant stay. To out surprise on our last day the Hotel credited us $$ on our credit card for the inconvenience

Location across from the ocean with a nice walking path and the serene feeling to watch the beautiful sunset. The hotel has a boutique Inn feel to it and we felt safe and secure, including our vehicle. The warm fireplace and soaker tub were added perks.

The room was a bit smaller than I expected but the service made up for any shortcomings. The HOT, delicious breakfast delivered directly to our room for a private cozy meal was a wonderful surprise.

It's a small hotel with beautiful amenities and right on the ocean. Perfect location! Due to covid our breakfast was put in a paper bag and left at our door. Wonderful accommodations!

Everything was perfect, just missed slippers.

Location, warm reception, perfect for a two-day getaway. Already planning a trip back next January. Told friends that it was perfect for them to enjoy time with their significant other. Close drive to Paso wine country.

No air conditioning in rooms Breakfast was brought to from in plastic containers We were three and only a table for two for breakfast. We wanted a one page thing printed but it was too difficult for the staff

I love that it didn't have the feel of a traditional hotel. Quaint location, perfect if you just want to be away from everything. Except Hearst Castle which is about 8 miles up the road or so. The nearest grocery store was 20 miles. Loved it

The hotel had a great location, awesome staff and beautiful rooms. I highly recommend the Blue Dolphin Inn. Even the unexpectedly made to order (free) breakfast was outstanding and served in a little to go bag so we could take it out to the beach and eat.

Location! Beautiful views of the Pacific and across the street from the boardwalk walkway. Lots of seating areas outside the hotel to relax and enjoy your breakfast and the view.

Small hotel, friendly staff, very clean rooms. Within easy walk to restaurant. Loved having dvd to use for the night. Nice breakfast brought to the room. Nice to have "real" coffee mugs and glass glasses to drink out of. Met all necessities.

Room was quite small but adequate for an overnight. Decor was lovely.

I was actually surprised, since there are different reviews everywhere saying anywhere from 2 star hotel to four star hotel. But I thought all together It was very pleasant. Great staff, great breakfast, great room awesome beds and very very clean.

The check in was a tiny bit slow because there is only one person at a desk checking you in but they make up for it in personality and dedication to customer service. She walked us to the room and showed us how to work everything and where everything was.

The patio and the proximity to the beach and boardwalk. Being in walking distance to an excellent seafood restaurant.

It´s accessible and close to beach.

Breakfast was delicious. Fireside outside was fun. View was great.

Mattress was saggy. Gave me a backache.

We had a lovely time. Loved the location on the beach and within walking distance to a nice restaurant. The staff was helpful and nice. The only reason I gave it 9 stars instead of 10 is because there is no air conditioning. We were there in October, so that wasn't a problem, but it could be in the summer. The rooms have large windows that open, which we enjoyed.

Room was perfect. Nice window view. Right across the street from Moonstone Beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine for my roommate, but not for me. No fault of theirs, I have a lot of food allergies. The breakfast wrap was big enough for two meals for my roommate. We will definitely be returning!

We had trouble with the tv. We didn't really need it anyway, but neither working the remote or the broadcasting program was workable for us..
