Pros +
- It was nice to have a kitchen available, but the 1970s hum of the refrigerator was loud and obnoxious.
- It was close to everthing. Comfortable bed and pillows had plenty of towels.
- We stayed with a toddler. It was useful to have a separate bedroom and kitchen.
Cons -
- This hotel was beyond filthy. A black rim around the bed skirt, that appears to never have been changed or washed. Black hair all over the floors. My feet were deep brown from walking in the room. It was filthy. Aunts in the kitchen and bathroom.
- Dirty towels. Very dirty blinds in the bathroom. All blinds were difficult to operate. Dining chairs were extremely dirty (very old dirt). Most of plates in the kitchen were not completely clean. Strong smell of cleaning solutions in the kitchen.
- Nonfunctional spa tub. The reason for booking the property was to utilize the in-room jacuzzi. Staff dismissed the issue.

Mineral water piped into the room. Microwave and fridge. Parking. Wifi.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Affordability priced for the area
Furnishings are dated but well maintained.
This was a separate little bungalow with no adjoining buildings. Bed was comfortable.
Heater was a free standing heater box. There was 3 different cooling / heating devices in the room. Reservation was non-refundable. Thought it was expensive for what it was.
The space is very good and super close to down town
Is super cold the room no have a heat I can’t sleep
Close to town and clean and quite
A bit stark. Could use some Cole, paintings or something to give it a bit more appeal
Relatively well located in quite neighborhood a walkable distance from downtown. Clean and pleasant if just a bit austere. I'd stay again and would recommend it to friends.
Interior could have been brightened up with color. Either paint or more art or something.
We were in town for a wedding where a lot of the festivities were in or near downtown Calistoga. Carlin's Cottage Court was an easy walk to everything. The room was basic but clean and everything worked well. The pool area/hot tub was also no frills but enjoyable. All in all a good place for way less money than other properties nearby.
The entire property is a bit dated but there was nothing of note to complain about.
The rooms and cottages are comfortable, clean, and charming. On e of our rooms had a living area and full kitchen, others had nice rooms and bathroom areas. It is quiet, clean and a nice pool and hot tub of mineral water.
We would have liked a vending machine for drinks and ice (which may have been available but we didn't see it).
Clean and quaint. I was hoping I didn’t have to share a wall. It turns out I did but didn’t hear anything. These older places were built better.
I thought they were separate cabins but it was my fault for not looking closer at the pics.
The location, staff, the beds, ...

Great rooms. All was clean and spacious..The pool was delightful. Nice people.
The cottage had everything we needed, and more - tv in the living room and the bedroom.
The pillows were all somewhat firm.
Small older recently refurbished cabin that was clean! Pool was fine too!
Tight parking but workable.
The bedroom was stuffy. The windows did not stay open for airflow. No bathroom vent.
Nice space, great location, friendly staff, privacy, quaint, with very clean common space including pool and hot tub
Needed more kitchen utensils and kitchenware. Needed a fan in master bedroom. Windows would not open in cottage.
The swimming pool is great, with a temperature of 90 degrees. The bed was firm and comfortable. The parking space is in front of the door. The area is pretty quiet. It was cold outside, so it was nice to have a heater.
The person at the reception was weird. He told us that the jacuzzi was heated at 104 degrees, but when we went in the water was lukewarm. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, with few things clearly coming from a thrift store. The shelves of the closet were dirty. Around the kitchen there is what once was was probably a deck. The deck was closed and cluttered with old stuff, all visible from the windows.
The cottages are clean and neat. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, and the decor a bit outdated. Bathroom sink was also small. The area is nice, quiet and walkable to the downtown area of Calistoga. Would stay again if we are up in the area.
Didn't need to spa tub, would have preferred the bathroom to be a bit bigger. Bathroom sink was tucked in the corner with very little storage...hard for 2 people to share. Also, the air conditioner was a bit noisy.
