    Pros +

    • It was in Bridgeport where we wished to stop. How this place got a rating of 3.5 is dubious and no testament to the rating system . This is our third attempt to find a decent place to stay in Bridgeport, we¿ll not try again.
    • Charming old house. Spotless rooms, well appointed with antiques.
    • Great location, beautiful park like setting and very quite.

    Cons -

    • The room was cold and difficult to heat with the feeble, ( loud) heater set as high as 85. The room was crowded with poor lighting and no desk on which to study or write. Heaters from other rooms could be heard during the night. How this old dilapidated e
    • There is free internet, but the wifi connection was spotty and very slow.
    • The price could have been a little lower.....it is Bridgeport after all :)

Clean, staff was very friendly. The grass area was relaxing with a nice BBQ area under the shade trees.

Location was great and the outdoor lawn area was beautiful. I liked the coffee machine and real cups and glasses provided.

I had room 14. It was difficult to cool the room. The air conditioner was loud and kept turning off and on.

Everything fine. fishing on East Walker bad because of last years die off

Close by to walk for meals at restaurants. Staff was friendly and the grounds were beautiful. The room was very clean but very small. Bathroom was updated with new tile.

The bathroom was just too small. Pedestal sink didn't give counter space for items but a small shelf under the mirror. Small round toilet instead of an oblong shape. Very close to wall sitting at the toilet. Pocket door bc the bathroom was probably no bigger than 4' x 8'. No shelf in small square stand-up shower for shower items except for the dispensers on the wall if using their supplied products.

We were on our way to June lake. But a fire on the highway that prohibited us from getting there. We had just past through Bridgeport, noted how nice it was. Made a very quick reservation while driving back there. They had been experimenting power outages all day. But, sorted out our very recent reservation. The desk clerk was so nice. Place was very clean, and comfortable

    All of it

Location, cleanliness, lovely courtyard for guest use, room refrigerators.

Mattress was so uncomfortable I woke up several times at night. Office didn't open on time to provide morning coffee, which is critical due to the fact this venue doesn't offer breakfast.

room was comfy and location was quiet

    room smelled of bleach

    10DesireePosted on: 10-12-2025

Small, cute, older, updated, clean rooms! Bed very comfortable! Charming.:)

    Location good, beds good

Thin walls with noisy neighbors, refrigerator hummed loudly all night, lost sleep

    7DanielPosted on: 10-4-2025

Great location. ... parking convenient ... overall ambiance.

Pretty tired rooms ... the church bells every hour ... weird heating and cooling systems ... TV for a closet ...

    The staff were pleasant people.

Outrageously over-priced and not even remotely worth the money. I've had more comfortable beds and pillows at a Motel 6. The walls were paper-thin. You could hear everyone's conversations, and every creak of the porch anytime someone walks by. The closet door randomly opened during my stay, and someone from the next room was able to walk right in and quickly backed out. There was no way to lock my side of the closet, so I had to wedge a chair in between the door and the bed. No curtain or blinds on the bathroom window. No microwave. The A/C never cooled down properly. You couldn't take a shower without touching the walls or the curtain.

Love the green belt area outside the rooms. Super convenient location.

No breakfast continental or grab and go goodies. For the price or perhaps even a breakfast add on fee we'd love to be able to grab a muffin or a banana and hot coffee with real cream. Such a lovely way to start the day. Maybe consider a breakfast add in feature to the room rate.

Loved the outdoor lawn area and shade. Pet friendly

    3PEGGYPosted on: 9-2-2025

Nice grass area to walk your dog.

Microwave was outside the room in another area. You had to leave your room and walk to the ice room to use it.Furniture was really old. Took forever to get any hot water in sink or shower.

Location scenic views and comfortably set up with access to outdoor seating. Clean.

Toilet did not work ran all night . Could not flush

    3MichellePosted on: 7-24-2025

Close to restaurants and twin lakes.

Had to sit sideways on the toilet....knees touched the wall! Water wasn't even warm enough to shower!
