Pros +

  • The location was great. Close to everything.
  • Everything
  • The location was perfect, the staff was amazing on my first trip then on my second trip he remembered me and gave me back the same room because he remembered that I enjoyed the view. That for me is excellent customer service, which made it valuable and worthwhile. The Christmas music made it very cozy and special. It was my favorite time of the year, and to have been there listening and singing along with the joyful songs, under the beautiful lights outside all while looking at the snow; made it a delightful experience.

Cons -

  • Too expensive! Basic room, no extras. Had to call front desk and ask for towels and a blanket for the bed.. Bed had a sheet only, this is Big Bear in February. 27 degrees outside and you have to call and ask for a blanket? Which they make you come back to the office and get your towels and blanket yourself.. The bed was so old and uncomfortable I could barely sleep. The mattress had zero support and You just sink down and feel all the springs all night. TV cable wasn't great.. hardly any channels and some of those didn't even work, no signal. I just feel I paid too much for a cheap basic hotel..
  • Provide internet tv to allow guests access to their personal Netflix, YouTube etc. As opposed to the limitations of cable television only.
