Holiday Inn Hotel And Suites Barstow By IHG

We booked for the Holiday inn Express down the street, a new one, and they sent us to this one which was busy and unfriendly.

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Great continental breakfast. Cute lobby library. Friendly staff. Easy parking.

Audible freeway noise at night. Stripped electrical outlets so plugs don't stay in, they just fall out of the wall.

Staff when asked how she is doing stated “well I am here”. So that was our first impression. The rooms were ok, but extremely dated. The air conditioning in the room was so loud, it felt like we were sleeping at a busy train station. Mattresses were bad.

The beds seem to be comfortable.

The website indicates there's a pool on site. What they don't tell you is that it's indoors freezing, and the ceiling looks like it's ready to collapse.

some reason just as you enter the room the is a wet spot on the carpet floor, it wasnt coming from the bathroom area I checked it several times, but is was if something was spilled. noticed it while walking barefoot.

Location, available services (laundry, snacks, drinks), and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was noisy. I could hear water running in neighboring rooms and an unidentified buzzing sound that would come and go. Not worth 150 per night.

The staff was great, upgraded our room when one wasn't ready for us on time. Breakfast was good too, no complaints!

I booked 2 rooms and one of them wasn?t cleaned. The blankets were all over and restroom wasn?t cleaned.I was given another room and this room didn?t have the air conditioner control working.It was 60 F when we entered and it went to 48 in 2 hours.No help

This is probably the best hotel in Barstow. The superb location, absolutely amazing staff, the perfect amenities, beautiful immaculately clean room, big comfortable bed (my wife says it had the comfiest blanket; though she didn?t share it with me).

Could not find manufacturer of blanket used at hotel, haha!

The staff is horrible, their attitudes and the way the handle themselves was awful. Even the manager was rude and screamed at staff in the crowded breakfast area.

Nice location, quiet area with restaurants in walking distance.

We tried checking in at 3:30 but they didn't have anyone on duty to check us in. The cleaning lady said someone should arrive at 4 but still never showed up so didn't get checked in until later. It was Super Bowl Sunday :-(

Great location. Room was very clean.

There elevator was out and we had to haul luggage 3 flights of stairs. This is not a 1 time occurrence. Apparently happens frequently not to mention you could get stuck in elevator. secondly, breakfast staff is poor. On phone instead of doing job.

It was a great place! The room layout was great. We were given a very convenient room for senior access.

Our shower body wash was completely out. Front desk said they would have some for me, but didnt when I went to pick it up. I was handed some tiny bars of facial soap. There werent any refills for the body wash. Very disappointed with this.

Nice safe area next to Tesla Supercharger with lots of eating options. Hotel is very nice.

Very convenient, next to Starbucks and down the street from the races we were attending. I love that it comes with breakfast!

The walls are thin as can be. Parking lot is very small.

We arrived noon and went to check in. We thought we would check in and then go over to the outlet mall next door and spend time (and money) until 3pm when our room would be ready. They not only had a room ready for us when we checked in, they upgraded us.

I liked that they gave me a top level room. And they have an onsite laundry for 1$ .Great staff, perfect location surrounded by lots of shopping malls and restaurants.

The bed or the bed sheets did have a smell to them. I tried changing to a different bed since I had two but they all had a dump or some awful smell. The breakfast was trash apart from the Apple juice.

Convenient location. Breakfast room staff member was a gem!

Desk staff were not very pleasant.
