Rodeway Inn Barstow Route 66

It was very clean and it was obvious that the proprietor holds her property to a very high standard. This is an older motel that has yet to be remodeled. With the hard working staff and owner here, this place is likely on its way up. I would stay again.

Don?t like towels on toilet tank. Too close to flush-spray

Was not vwey clean. Lots of things were missing or broken. Water for shower was set to warm only. Not a good experience. Will not goback there.

Everything: from the time I checked in and was greeted with a nice welcoming, to the clean room I was assigned. I left my credit card and was notified right away, they were awesome!!

Bad internet connection. Weak wifi. It ruined and lost my online work. Not happy about that.

This property was recently renovated, and the inside of the rooms really show how extensively they were updated. When I opened the door, I said "WOW".

The exterior has not received the update of the rooms' interior. My room was in an alcove, and there was a bit of trash on the walkway. A similar update to the outside that was performed on the inside is really needed.

breakfast was amazing! waffles and eggs made to order!! Also, the owner was very customer focused and willing to do what it takes to make our stay enjoyable.

Owners are very attentive. Loved clear communication and information. Breakfast was amazing; included non-dairy options, cooked to order and wide variety.

The hotel is old, but has been updated and is well taken care of.

When we arrived we discovered a stack of 7 bed mattresses placed on a plastic tarp in the parking lot. Two things came to mind when we saw them which was dirty and bed bugs. We did not stay at the Rodeway Inn. Booked another room at the Hilton in town.

Although it is an older hotel, it was clean and comfortable, including the best mattress I slept on during my week of traveling cross country. hotel employee was lovely and accommodating and you can tell her genuine interest in your comfort during your stay.

We loved staying here the owners take pride in their establishment and do everything they can to make your stay a good experience. Rooms are very clean and updated. I have never had and experience in a hotel where someone cooks your eggs to order.

Near the freeway exit, clean and partially updated for an older family-owned hotel, and plenty of choices at the complimentary breakfast. And it¿s true¿the owner makes your eggs to order!

Mattresses were comfortable, but I wished our beds had the heavier, fluffier white comforters as pictured in the hotel pics. Our beds had thin, maroon coverlets and a thin fleece blanket. Heater worked well, so we made do.

We woke up late and only made breakfast with 15 mins to spare which was a terrible shame as it was the best breakfast you could wish for. Fresh fruit, eggs, muffins, waffles, toast etc. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. By far one of the best stayed in.

The personalized service and hospitality. The owners were personable and friendly, and while being so, cooked us breakfast and spoke to us as if we were guests in their own home.

Barstow is just kind of a dumpy town, so it's not our favorite place to stay. But if you find yourself there and needing a room, you wont find a better room for 100 miles.

Breakfast and staff were awesome! Nicest people, and breakfast was excellent, fresh eggs, fresh fruit, waffles and so much more!

Oh my goodness. The hospitality here is exceptional. Hotel employee were both so sweet and accommodating. Hotel employee made eggs to order and waffles with fresh berries, excellent breakfast. Our room was spacious and clean. Couldn't have asked for more.

Room was clean, quiet and all fixtures were upgraded. The host was polite and helpful.
