Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Barstow

Awful service, luke warm water and non stop noise while trying to sleep. The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful.

The front desk staff were warm and welcoming coming and going. Bed was comfy!

Leaving the hotel as I was bringing the luggage cart back in I unintentionally almost collided with a maintenance man of some sort (I apologized) and he verbally berated us as I walked back to the car and as we drove away. Horrible way to start the day.

Poor paper products--tp, kleenex. Also not impressed with towels. After we left the hotel, we stopped at a Rest Stop and their tp was superior to what we got at the hotel.

The was no hot water and we were NOT informed of this when we checked in Found out the next morning trying to take a shower

Location and facility was super clean and newly updated. The check in staff was incredible! Friendly and helpful with the area.

The beds weren’t the greatest for my comfort. If you like a firm less plush mattress then you’re fine.

The breakfast was very nice. The jacuzzi was very clean.

Hallways smelled like food and vomit. Need better ventilation in hallways.

Pool looks much nicer on pictures than in reality. The fireplace – same thing, nicer on the pics. It was disappointing… At 9 am some positions from breakfast menu were over like oatmeal, cheese, orange juice. But people in fact just woke up and came down for breakfast.Stuff and room were great. But I still feel I pay more than it should be

This is a great place to stay and exceptional value for $$. This site is a big step up from other low cost options. Very clean, will appointed, a very nice outdoor area with two grills, a lovely fire pit and pool. Indoor lobby area looks more like a pricer hotel with a fairly spacious bar area, happy hour, nibbles. The king bed room was clean and a nice size with two TV’s and even a small step in the shower. And lots of food options within walking distance.

I really loved the shower. It was really nice with body wash provided. The breakfast was very good. Alot of options, especially on making oatmeal. Very nice atmosphere.
