BEST MOTEL on Historic Route 66, Barstow

Location.

No TV. Dirty towels. Dirty sheets.No Continental Breakfast. Dirty tub. No phone.

The staff is very nice, cooperative and welcoming. The room is spacious with a big screen TV, fridge and microwave for the price. It gives best value for the money as the name stands.

Went to check in men told it wasn't pay for and that they don't take payment online but but took money out my acct

Nothing advertised is true. Front desk closed 12 hours, no housekeeping, no internet, no ice. Etc

The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, there was plenty of parking, and the sunset view made the stay really nice.

Very clean, the TV is greatl! and has Direct TV. Mini fridge is clean and quiet.

Bring an extra blanket for the bed, and your own favorite pillow.

We love staying at Best Motel on the historic route 66 when traveling from Vegas to Los Angeles. The check-in process is always a breeze, the room is exceptionally large, neat, and overall the room has everything we need. Staff is always friendly.

Disgusting

The parking lot has homeless people dragging hefty bags moving through it. The other cars had busted windows and windshields or windows rolled down, apparently not to get broken into. I slept with the lights and TV on and curtain open hoping not to get my car broken into. But I can't say I actually slept. I wish this would let me upload more photos. The place was stunningly filthy. The refrigerator had old food in it. The ice bucket was full of water with old cups floating in it. The microwave was dirty. The TV had some sort of fluid splashed on it which had dried. I posted a photo of the bathroom towel after I used it to wipe water off the floor. It turned instantly black. The entire bathroom floor, once it got water on it, was just covered in black filth. The light switches were full of broken plastic. The inside of the fridge and freezer were full of stains and crud. The sheet had so many stains it took us a long time to determine whether it had been washed. We used our sleeping bags to sleep in. I'm absolutely shocked that this place is even listed on this app. And by some sort of scam it has good reviews. There were very gangster looking people staying here. People walking around with pit bulls and trash bags at all hours of the night, not looking coherent. It was scary. It was also gross in terms of cleanliness. This app needs to seriously reevaluate why this place is on its platform, and by what magic it apparently has been given good reviews. Because that's not real! This isn't a safe motel to stay in.

There was coackroacs i found 2 one in the toilet and one on the floor

They advertise on Booking with a beautiful pool. But the pool is all green and dirty and not in use. This is false advertising.

Location is near everything so very convenient... I enjoyed the quietness of the hotel as well.. The heater worked amazing...

Shower water could be a lil warmer... Maybe turn up the water heater???

Nothing the fact that I booked it and showed up and they told me that they didn’t want kids and that they didn’t have room and I booked the hotel and showed the booking they still refused to give me the room but let me look at it as if it was my room sad.
