Located just off Highway 101, this Atascadero hotel is 5 minuets' walk from Historic Downtown Atascadero, and rooms with free Wi-Fi and a cable TV. The Charles Paddock Zoo is just 1 mile away. A Flat-Screen TV, Coffee Maker, Microwave and a Fridge are provided standard in all guest rooms at the Atascadero Inn. Each room offers a simple design and includes a work desk and seating area. The hotel staff is available around the clock at the 24-hour front desk. Free parking is provided on site. The Atascadero Veterans Memorial is just a 2-minute drive from the Atascadero Inn. - Road noise, bed mounted on a sheet metal stand that boomed every time you bumped it. Forget about bed being quiet if you were being amorous. Large TV was broken and a small table model was put in place. (Not mentioned to us at checkin.) Unhelpful staff.
- The room was over priced. The motel claimed we had a non smoking room and it had a strong odor of cigarette/cigar within the room. The bed spread had cigarette burn marks. The shower curtain was moldy and the towels smelled like smoke.
