I liked that the bed felt good and comfortable

I didn't like that I had to relocate in the middle of the night and go to another room because my room was infested with stank bugs they were flying everywhere and they was all on the ceilings and walls I had a fit I had to run and duck while trying to gather my belongings to relocate to make sure I that the bugs didn't bite me recently I had just seen on the news that now a days if a stank bug bite you it can cause an infection in your blood that can kill you I was terrified I called the front desk and told the man on duty what was going on he offered me another room which I wasn't totally satisfied because I felt as though he should have given me a refund I asked for a refund and he told me he couldn't give me a refund I have been to plenty of hotels in my life I have never experienced a room being infested with live flying stank bugs I discovered the stank bugs were inside the room when I had just got off the phone and I heard buzzing noises i started looking around and that's when I saw them everywhere I was just fixing to go to sleep it's a good thing I didn't go to sleep they probably would have been crawling all on me I transferred to another room having to make several trips back and forth up the stairs in the middle of the late night when I arrived in the other room I was paranoid that the bugs were in there too my advice to the owners please get the rooms exterminated every now and then for the sake of your guest this experience really freaked me out and I feel I deserve a full refund from going through what I went through ?????

I asked for a late check out and was given one for 12:00. I attended a local sporting event and didn’t get back to my room till 2:30am. Later, I was startled awake shortly before 11:00am that I hadn’t checked out yet. I reminded her I had a late checkout. She apologized for not seeing that before calling, but I was flustered. I went ahead and got the few things I brought, checked out and left. Until that happened, my experience had been great!

When we arrived I noticed an abandoned car in the parking lot and a truck rear end in a parking spot too.Since the hotel had decent reviews I just overlooked that and checked in.The clerk was nice but the lobby wasn't very clean. When we opened the room it smelled like smoke but I had some Freebreeze in my vehicle to use.The tub had mold but I said it's only one night it will be alright. But when we went to get in bed there was hairs on the sheet. Obviously the bed had been made up but the sheets not changed. Nasty nasty nasty. I went to the office and asked for a refund but the best he would offer was a different room or half my money back. So I called my credit card company and disputed the charges. We then went next door to the Microtel and got a very nice room. Don't bother with the Key West Inn unless you like a run down dump with nasty sheets.
