Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham-Pelham (I-65)

Staff was very friendly when we checked in (Brooke) and the lady who checked us out. Enjoyed the variety of breakfast items and the food area and lobby were very clean. Hotel room was also super clean, beds were comfy, and best of all, AC was very good.

The location was perfect . The breakfast was very good with lots of choices. I really liked the flavored waffle and toppings .

The hotel is in need of remodeling particularly tile replacement in rooms and lobby are needed . The carpeting was also very dated .

They were working on floors, which caused noise disturbance. They should have advised about that

Staff was very friendly and helpful in getting us there when our GPS failed us. The room was very nice and big. Very comfortable beds & pillows. One of the nicer hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend!

Bed and pillows were so comfortable

TV was horrible. When powered on took 30-45 seconds to power on. No onscreen guide and scrolling from channel to channel took a few seconds not instant.

Hotel is recently renovated and it was clean. Staff is good and polite. Hotels also serves hot breakfast and coffee. overall we enjoyed our stay.

hotel has limited parking but there are some parking spot near by.

There were only two things I did not like. 1. I severely hurt my back because there were no trollies when I checked in. I had to carry luggage to my room. 2. The shower door design is horrible! Water pours through the 1" gap onto the floor! Major liabil

We awakened to a giant cock roach on the wall to the left of the bed which did not offer great confidence to the cleanliness of the kitchen so we avoided breakfast

No king bed like I reserved. pool was empty. Room walls were dirty. room was shabby,NOTE hotel is being renovated. no shower plug or drain /bug in the bathroom. The lobby tables looked like they were never wiped down. Very dirty.

I had to stand in lobby five minutes with no one at the counter. Finally I walked to an unlighted office behind the check out counter and yelled then a minute later a lady appeared with a hoodie up over her head and checked me out. This happened at 5 AM

The front desk staff were superb! Check-in was quick but it was efficient as well. The breakfast was delicious! We stayed in 4 different hotels on our trip. The Hampton at Birmingham-Pelham was our favorite.

We found this at all of the hotels we stayed at during our trip - the beds were all too hard for us to get a good night's sleep. Both my husband and I prefer a softer mattress. It would be great to have mattress options when selecting a room.

The staff was friendly

The coffee maker in the room was extremely cheap. They also could have provided more than one cup of regular coffee. We had to go ask for 2 for 2 people.

They did give us a goodie bag

Lights went out 2 times, toilet backed up, tv kept going in and out and they are in the middle of remolding ¿¿

a little older than the Hampton we had stayed in a week previously, so we missed some of the improvements that have been made in the design of the room. There's less space for opened suitcases, less modern bedside lighting. Overall though, good place.

clean, quiet, good breakfast

The room had a ceiling fan which was nice but it had not been cleaned in a long time. They use satellite tv and most of the channels would not come in and those that did did not come in clear.

A pair of expensive athletic pants were left in the bathroom, 100% my fault. I immediately called the hotel and was told they weren¿t found, they didn¿t even apologize or try to make things right at all! So apparently some thieves are employed here! ¿¿

This hotel has a good complimentary breakfast.

The air conditioning is motion-activated which resulted in a restless night. I will not stay at this hotel again if this practice continues.

very spacious as well as accommodating

the room was quite large yet only had 2 small trash cans. One more might have been nice.

The desk clerk that checked us in was so nice and did a great job even tho he admitted to being new. The room was awesome and so was our experience.
