    Pros +

    • Bedding was nice , pillows were soft.
    • The staff was great, they were all so friendly. The hotel is super clean.
    • Beautiful, well-maintained, and historic building Friendly staff

    Cons -

    • Mediocre at best for the price. At this rate you¿d expect a robe and some free water at least. There¿s more amenities at a Spring Hill suites hotel. Lights in the bathroom flickering , old carpet and you could see the mold coming through the caulking .
    • I wish they had free Contential breakfast.
    • Awakened very early in the AM b/c fire alarm testing was being conducted. There was a letter under our door about it, but it was placed there late in the evening after we¿d already gone to bed, so we didn¿t see it until after the alarm sounded. :(

Beautiful interior with lovely amenities. Great helpful staff as well! This was a wonderful hotel experience.

Parking is not included - valet only basically, or street parking around the block. Also the restaurant was closed when I went, so only cafe foods available.

I loved the history of the place, the friendliness of the staff, the size of the room, and the beautiful bathroom.

The only con I'd say is the walk from the elevator to my particular room - I'd say there are several rooms on each floor that are quite a hike to the nearest elevator. A very mild inconvenience, but one I'd think people would appreciate knowing!

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-10-2021

Comfort , staff and location is not far from several places we frequent.

The front is on the road literally, and sometimes makes it difficult to unload and load for valet if several vehicles are arriving or departing at the same time

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nice, I just wish I could say the same for the staff and management.

The fire alarm went off all night for a total of six times and was unable to sleep at all. Had to climb down seven flights of stairs each time the fire alarm went off. All were false alarms. Management refused to do anything to compensate.

The hotel was incredibly beautiful and the staff was very attentive. They had great music in the bar and the in house Italian restaurant was fabulous.

    Location, clean, high quality

Check in could have been better.

    10LewisPosted on: 12-15-2020

Updated historic hotel with a large lobby and a large nicely appointed room All employees encountered were A+.

Not the safest location in Mobile.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 11-3-2020

Beautiful well decorated lobby and rooms, excellent restaurant (Trellis Room) and awesome downtown location

    8KennyPosted on: 11-3-2020

There was a leftover bottle of sprite in the fridge...the bathroom had fresh odor of a pipe smoker in a non smoking room...and there was a stain on the bedsheets. 8 out of 10....

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-14-2020

beautiful decor feels like a real experience very professional valet service right next to a great outdoor area of shops bars and restaurants in Mobile Downtown. LOVE THIS PLACE!!

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-22-2019

The comfort of the beds and the views of the city

No hot water in the shower, it was very disappointing for me and my wife.....never would have believed that in such a nice hotel....was not informed about the different charges that we incurred

    9KaylaPosted on: 8-21-2018

Hotel room was very large and felt clean. The common areas were very nice and well maintained.

Finding parking was difficult and you only had a choice between street parking or valet.

    10GreggPosted on: 4-7-2018

    Very clean and nicely decorated.

The parking charge. $22 per night.

    9DavidPosted on: 6-8-2017

    Atmosphere- historical feel and clean

Room was a little smaller than expected

    8KylePosted on: 12-20-2016

    Friendly and helpful staff

Mandatory vallet parking that cost $20 a day

    9BrentPosted on: 9-7-2016

Convenient to down town area lots to do within walking distance

Bed was hard. Not a 4 star mattress. 20 a day to park and no access to the vehicle without valet attendants.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-6-2016

The beauty of this hotel was a plus, and the location was convenient as well. The rooms were very large and relaxing. The roof top Terrence was so nice and well kept!

No microwaves in the room. That was it!
