Econo Lodge Athens I-65

The door locked.

Bathroom disgusting, stained, bathtub, toilet moved anytime a person sat. Blood stained towels, holes in walls, loud weird noise outside our door. "Breakfast, 2 kinds of dry cereal you scoop from a jar, white bread and a toaster. No coffee maker in room

Staff

The bathroom towel bar coming off wall ceiling fan in bathroom in need of cleaning overall room in need of good cleaning.

Checked in time was at 2 the rooms were not ready. The bed was hard as a brick. Tried pull covers up but they were stapled to the bed.. Also we only had a towel and was cloth a piece. Their was supposed to be free continual breakfast and there was none

It had a discounted price so I booked a room

Staying here made me nervous. There were many rough men hanging out on the balconies and parking lot all night. One kept making excuses to walk by our car when unloading. The room smelled musty but was wiped down. I would pay more and stay elsewhere.

price

old, beat up room, cracked mirror, stained sheets

Restaurants nearby, staff were nice.

Drug deals going on all night, constant honking. Awful neighborhood.

The staff was horribly rude. The room was dirty - the sheets were wrinkly and had been slept on previously. There was no desk chair, side chair or other furniture in the room. The breakfast was cereal and milk and the coffee wasn¿t drinkable.

Location was convenient.

My first room had cigarette burns all over the bedspread and the TV was broken. I was given another room. In my second room, there was the makings for coffee, but no coffee pot. Half of the white ¿paint¿ on the bathtub was missing/flaked off.

It is a dump! My room floor was so dirty that my feet were black. This place is a mess. Staff was fighting & breakfast was dry cereal & coffee. I won't book here again. Cigarette butts all over the grounds. Room smelled like smoking...not supposed to be.

Hotel was close to all the places we needed to go

The door jam was missing the striker plate for all the door locks and had a lot of play in it.

The wasn't clean the room had a bad smell and tv didn't work

Room received was not non-smoking . Ash tray on bedside table with ashes all over counter . Room was filthy and smelled horrible . Outlet hanging from wall for tv plug, stained sheets/pillow cases. Sink/toilet and bath tub had hair all over . Very dirty

Filthy

Absolutely nothing ! Lady at the front desk was beyond rude and hateful. Rooms stunk, toilet didn¿t flush, the tv only had one channel.

The location was okay.

Nothing there were meth heads shooting up in parking lot

Door broke it had been kicked in. No fridge. No coffee pot no ice machine. Staff was rude. Swimming pool had stagger water in it Toilet had bullet in it.

The bedding had cigarettes burn holes in it, the door didn't have a latch, when you run water in the room it seeps up from between the floor boards, it was filthy, the ceilings and walls were covered in water stains.

Location

Smoke detector in room (Wires hanging), no microwave and no working light bulb in the bathroom (wires hanging). Fire hazard!!!

Location was the only good thing about this hotel.

This was probably the worst lodging I have ever experienced in my lifetime. The place was absolutely filthy smelly beyond belief and unsecured. The door to the room had daylight between the outside and inside. The bathroom tub leak all night.

The was supposed to be non-smoking but was filled with smoke. The sheets were stained and the carpet was filthy and old. I had to ask for new sheets and slept on top of the comforter. I can honestly say this was the worst room I've ever stayed in.

It's location. Right off the main highway, in the center of lots of stores.

The room stunk of cigarette smoke. I know its difficult to keep people from smoking, but there should be some sort of cleaner that can maybe reduce the stink.

To loud, not very clean, not what I expected, outdated
