On Summit Lake, just 8 miles from the Seward/Sterling highway junction, this Moose Pass lodge provides a daily, made-to-order breakfast. Free Wi-Fi is available in the main lodge. A flat-screen satellite TV and a sitting area are offered in each cottage at Summit Lake Lodge. A mountain view and a private bathroom are standard. Built of logs, Lodge Summit Lake offers a sweeping terrace for guests to lounge and overlook the lake. Canoeing, paddle boats, kayaking, hiking, fishing, horseshoes and a basketball hoop are possible on site. An on-site, full-service restaurant and bar features wild Alaskan seafood, steaks, specialty salads and homemade desserts. A cafe which serves espresso, ice cream, baked goods and desserts is also available. The Kenai River is a 20-minute drive away. Seward and Prince William Sound are 45-minute drives from the Summit Lake Lodge.

- Clean rooms, great food and a very friendly and helpful staff
- Location, the use of the lake to canoe or kayak and a wonderful breakfast

Cons -
- Not their fault. I thought they were closer to Seward. Other than that. Perfect
- Apparently no fish in the lake....not really under the lodge's control but slightly disappointing......amazing surroundings though....some of the best in Alaska (and that is saying a lot).
- we stayed in lodge. electrical outlets were in need of replacement---plugs wouldn't stay in place. the "bar" of soap for the shower was so small it was useless.I knew they did not have TV or wi-fi in rooms. It would be a big plus if these were added.
