    Pros +

    • The breakfast was not hot or worth $25. Way too much bread. Tea water was cold. The only thing I didn't like about the place was the breakfast for the value
    • Location was perfect. The rooms were very comfortable and quaint. The Oceanview is incredible. The Resort went above and beyond for us. Thank you
    • The location in relation to the view is spectacular and I am sure if you are a keen fishermen this is the place for you however, as we were looking for something as a vacation and not fishing enthusiasts it did not live up to our expectations. The team are mostly very friendly however, there are some who were not very engaging at all. It was amazing to see the fish that were caught and seemed like a very top notch operation from that perspective. Austen the lady behind the bar on our last night is definitely an asset for the resort.

    Cons -

    • The room was not serviced for our stay, the wifi was very intermittant, we could hear the people above us wake up for their early morning fishing trip so when they are up everyone is up, the bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine when it is on. It is quite a distance from the town,, if you can catch the hotel shuttle is fine but the taxi fare was up to 100 depending on the taxi driver. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss - on our last morning the coffee and the juice ran out with no refills. Quite expensive breakfast for what was received. This is definitely more of a hotel for those who are wanting to go out and fish and quality of accommodation etc. is not highest on the list.
    • The rooms didn’t have AC and it happened to be pretty warm when we were there so it was a little uncomfortable the first night. We were able to get a fan from the office so we were fine after that :)
    • Room was cold and you could hear noises and even people talking at 4 am. Seemed paper then walls.

The breakfast was excellent each morning and the view of the ocean from anywhere on the property was incredible!!

Your experience is only measured by your willingness to take advantage all there is to offer. The front desk set it all up conveniently. From fishing, hiking, sea plane excursions, to oyster bay across the way. They have it all. Enjoy all that you can & everything they have to offer. Only you can limit your the possibilities because they are endless. Do yourself a favor & sit down with the front desk to see what they have to offer. You won’t be disappointed

Timbers was great too. The people were friendly and welcoming. Stunning views and amazing weather for our 3 day stay. We loved Settlers Cove and the hiking trails.A great place to stay on the north side of Ketchikan. Away from the cruise ship crowds.

Excellent staff. Location waterfront. World-class fishing.

The wait staff was awesome. Poke nachos, awesome. But the quality of breakfast and dinners were so disappointing. Breakfast omelet bar was a stand-out, but the breakfast buffet was poor. The dinners were so underwhelming. Skip the braised beef, pork chops and prime rib. They were poorly done. Undercooked and overcooked. The fish dinners were good, not great.
