- I liked that it was in the heart of downtown.
- The ambiance of the Victorian era. You definitely feel like you are staying in a hotel from the turn of the 20th century. Loved how convenient it was to all of the downtown.
Cons -
- Yes. We had to go through the bar when we came to the hotel. The bartender had no idea about the hotel and booked us between pouring drinks. We drug our luggage up the 2 flights of dangerously steep stairs to a teeny room with no bathroom.
- The staff was a bit too perfunctory to be polite. I questioned if any cleaning had been done from the last guest.
- There is no elevator so stairs give you exercise. The attached bar is quite noisy at night making sleeping difficult until the music stops. But we will stay there again.
