Aspen Suites Hotel Haines

I was quarantined there for six days so having the use of a fully equipped suite was perfect and necessary for me to isolate and not have everything I needed.

Great location and a modern room with comfortable bedding and furniture. Generous parking spaces available.

Extremely clean. Laundry room was spotless.

A little over-priced for the amenities, no breakfast.

The room was very comfortable, had everything we needed, was spotless, staff were very helpful and friendly.

no breakfast other than coffee. felt safe in the area. son suggested place, good enough for us.

found bed too soft. arrived 45 minutes before check in after 4 hour ferry ride and denied room at that time. only after asking them to watch our bags did we receive the room.

Wonderful room. Spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. Good WiFi. Full kitchen was handy. It was an easy walk to Haines attractions.

We loved the proximity to everything intown, and the spaciousness of the room and the kitchenette. The bed was most comfortable,

The only criticism might be the blackout curtains for a June stay were not as great as they could be, but we slept well non the less.

I was charged the fee for staying here via booking.com. the hotel also charged me on my credit card.. the hotel refunded me for one charge but because the exchange rate changed I am out 50 dollars for that.. I also noticed two new charges from the hotel on my credit card this morning, I've left messages via email and phone and have yet to hear back about the new charges.. beware if you are using booking.com for this hotel and make sure you don't give them your credit card if you do

The property was clean and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. It was a great location close to stores and town.

The guy doing the check in did not seem like he knew how to read. He took over 30 minutes to check me in. He had to call the manager for help, but before that he spent a long time staring at the screen with a scared look. I think he did not understand the screens, this may be due to being functionally illiterate. The manager stated he had been trained and his tag said he had worked there at least 3 months.

It was very clean and quiet.

As a tea drinker I'm always looking for a place in the morning to get hot water. There was a hot water carafe in the lobby but the lobby was closed (gated) until 8 am, so I couldn't have tea first thing. Also we only had one packet of (caffeinated) coffee for a two day stay for two people. But otherwise everything was great.

Great location close enough to walk to most things in downtown Haines. Rooms were roomy and well stocked.

It would have really helped to have a hook in the bathroom for your clothes and some hooks by the front door for coats.

I've stayed here twice now and really like how clean it is. Prices are reasonable given the options for places to stay in Haines. Parking is never a problem which is super nice. Definitely will be staying here again for future trips.

The building is locked at the front which can make check in difficult since you don't have a key card to open the door prior to check in. The reception area also seems to lock a gate quite often, which also makes check in difficult if you have to wait for them to return.

The cleanest, most comfortable place we stayed the entire visit to Alaska. Kitchenette was completely furnished with everything we wanted. The grocery store across the street and restaurants near by. The first thing we saw was a bear in the grocery parking lot. The little museum had a fantastic display in chilkoot weaving and designs. Better than Juneau or Sitka. The cab didn't start until after the time we had to be at the dock for our transportation, so the manager got up very early to help us make our boat departure. This place is amazing!!!!! Great town with great people.

The room was exceedingly clean and spacious. Full kitchen, two burner cook top, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes and coffee was provided. Coffee and tea were available in the lobby. The location is a walkable distance to the downtown area.

The room was nice, lots of amenities. The beds were decent. The staff was helpful, and the location is perfect.
