Pros +
- It was close to the River
- It was close to the airport
- Rooms are actually small cottages, many alongside the river, with AC -- a rarity for hotels in Alaska. It was in the high 70s during my stay, so appreciated that. Clean rooms, nice staff, close to the airport.
Cons -
- Staff was confused checking me in. They needed help from management. So it took quite awhile to check in. Breakfast was 20 dollars a person.
- Old bus driver was rude. They get alot of tour bus business and treated you just like a number not a customer.
- Not the hotel's fault but newcomers to interior Alaska should know the mosquitoes there are large and vicious. Also not the hotel's fault--wild fires near Fairbanks made the air outside unbreathable.
