They upgraded our room due to how much we payed but ended up on a lower level room on the 13th floor, they then moved us into a different type of room on the 33rd floor!

The roof top pool was very nice. The layout of the room was nice as you walked right into an open room instead of the typical hallway so it gave it the feel of a real bedroom instead of a hotel, the bathroom had individual soaps, etc.
The rooftop pool was lovely, as was the gym. The room was beautiful, and all of the team were friendly and approachable. That said, nothing can beat the location: right on top of the T Green Line made getting anywhere in Boston a breeze.

Copley Square makes a good compass for exploring the Back Bay area and serves as the home of the monumental Boston Public Library. A few blocks north are eclectic shopping enclaves like Newbury Street, while to the south of the library sits the glittering Copley Place shopping mall. Look up to see the city's emblematic towers, including the John Hancock Building and Prudential Center. Amtrak's Back Bay Station is here, and Boston Logan International Airport is about 15 minutes northeast.

Staying at CitizenM was a different new hotel experience for me. Although some previous customer reviews see the smallness of the room as a negative, I loved the its efficient and thoughtful use of space. I also loved the spacious common areas.
