Its in a good location. Front staff was incredibly nice. Coffee in the lobby 24/7. It was a nice little place. Hotel was hidden in the back. Ignoring any complaints I might have, the price for a Friday night was quite worth it.
Everything was absolutely wonderful. Property was clean and well maintained. My room was very nice, clean, and appeared well taken care of. Breakfast was definitely a surprise. Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, and many more items. And the staff was GREAT!

Top Tips
- Book Flagler Beach hotels 45-60 days in advance during January-April to access rates 15-25% lower than last-minute prices. Rates on leading hotel platforms typically rise within 30 days of arrival, while booking earlier may trigger stricter cancellation fees. Confirm the cancellation window before payment for added flexibility.
- Save up to $15 daily by parking at city lots for $15 rather than using apps like ParkMobile, which add a 75% convenience fee. City-operated lots are centrally located within a 10-minute walk of most hotels on A1A.
- Motels along A1A between South 10th and 14th Streets are up to 30% quieter than those downtown, thanks to fewer bars and less foot traffic. Many provide sound-dampening windows; request this feature when booking if noise is a concern.
- Check for standby generators when selecting hotels, as only 12 of 48 oceanfront motels offer backup power. Properties without generators are prone to outages and loss of air conditioning when temperatures exceed 90°F during summer storms.
- Flagler Beach hotels and rentals cannot charge resort fees under local city code, unlike in Daytona or Miami. Report any added mandatory fees during booking as a violation to help enforce local regulations.
- Accessible room options are limited - only 7 motels (15%) provide roll-in showers or ADA layouts. Properties built before 2005 rarely updated for accessibility; request accessible amenities at booking and check the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles lodging registry for options.
- For higher upload speeds, use free municipal Wi-Fi at City Hall or the Library, which offer 18-22 Mbps upload compared to hotel Wi-Fi averaging 8-12 Mbps. Both locations provide step-free entrances and are open to the public.
- Restaurants typically do not serve tap water, but tap water in Flagler Beach meets EPA standards and is tested for PFAS. Bring a reusable bottle to avoid a 400% markup on bottled water in diners and help reduce single-use plastic waste.
- Avoid Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) when paying in USD, as some bed and breakfasts may add a 3.5% foreign card surcharge. Insist on charges in local currency; Square terminals at most hotels rarely apply fees.
- Exercise caution south of South 17th Street after 8 PM due to limited lighting and crime rates 2.3 times higher than the city average. Stick to well-lit, central hotel areas with maintained sidewalk access.
- Choose hotels certified for sea turtle lighting, as nine motels comply with Florida Fish and Wildlife guidelines to reduce beach light pollution and protect nesting turtles. Request certificate details if sea turtle conservation is a priority.
- Arrive after 4 PM to cut check-in wait time by up to 12 minutes; over 70% of guests check in between 11 AM and 2 PM, resulting in average waits of 18 minutes. For expedited check-in, request digital check-in if available at your property.
