The person that checked me in was pretty funny. Initially, he suggested that I needed to pay a deposit, even though I had already paid for the hotel. But then he said he was not going to charge me the deposit because they didn?t even have cable

Super clean and awesome location. Literally 5 min from Heavenly. Fantastic service. Sam, the owner, is very responsive and attentive. This is my second time at this hotel and will most definitely return. Bonus: premium coffee pods for the Keurig!!

Everything is well done. The rooms have nice decorative touches, bed comfy, LOVE all the hooks for hanging ski stuff. Outside swings and fire pit were great. It was nice to enjoy happy hour and relax. For the price- you can¿t beat this place.

After we checked in and went to our room, we were surprised to find a ceiling filter lying on the floor and the vent hanging down from the ceiling. When my husband checked the bathroom, he also found a hole in the wall with wallpaper peeling off.
Location, Location, location! The hotel sits near all of the Casinos. Walking distance to several restaurants and the Heavenly shops, which was a major plus

Location was good. Close to the water and a couple good restaurants. This was our first time to Lake Tahoe, so the south is good, but think I would stay on the North side next time. Less touristy.

Great location. Walking distance to shops restaurants and casinos. Loved the view from Emerald Bay just beautiful. We took the short drive to Virginia City NV and it did not disappoint. Recommend it if you like historical places.
Rooms were dirty. Wall unit was leaking and soaked the carpet. Mold on the wall, floor and window. Only 10 channels on the tv. It was like they bought a run down Motel 6 and slapped their name on it. Very noisy. The door had gaps and the cold wind blew.

Staff were friendly. The hotel is like new. However, the walls are thin, so try to stay on the top floor which is the fourth floor, so you will hear people walking on the ceiling all day and especially if you are on the 3rd floor. You will hear it.

Great location. Walkable to restaurants, shops, and downtown area. Quiet. Liked having a full sized fridge in the kitchenette. Provided enough towels for our weekend stay.

Beautiful lodge, the staff was super friendly. I do wish they had some kind of microwave/fridge in the room. There was one available so it was not bad.

The Timber Lodge guests can dine at the Fire and Ice, grill serving lunch and dinner. The hotel also offers a concierge desk, which has information on area attractions and activities. The Marriott is within a 35-minute drive of Carson City, which offers shopping, dining and entertainment. The Edgewood Golf Course is one mile from the hotel.

A rooftop terrace, fire pits and a lake-view patio are available. A fitness center, hot tub and a heated swimming pool are also featured for guest use. Free snowboard and ski storage is provided, and a gift shop is offered. Jimmy’s Restaurant, offering wood-fired and Mountain Chic California Cuisine is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In-room dining is also available. Sand Harbor State Park is 30 minutes’ drive from the resort. Edgewood Golf Club is 10 minutes’ walk away. Squaw Ski Resort is 1 hours’ drive from the property.

The lakeside view is the best, but when coupled with amazing staff and second to none room accommodations this place is definitely a no brainer and we will be back.
