indoor swimming pool was too smelly - chlorine stench made it impossible to use the pool.

The location, but was over shadowed by how ugly this hotel was and how bad their service is. 1 star is a generous rating for this hotel.
Friendly. Tried. Pretty.

The room service, housekeeping, view, breakfast, and customer service were the best I've ever experienced at a hotel. The lounges and sit down areas were comfortable with amazing views. And a cab was right around the corner whenever we needed it. Perfect
The best hotel in the city of Antalya. Beautifully landscaped; on top of a cliff overlooking the Antalya bay and the opposite mountains of Kemer and Tekirova; with cliffside swimming to die for; luxurious rooms, and excellent food.

Top Tips
- Book Antalya hotels 3-6 months ahead for June-August or Turkish public holidays to secure rates 20-50% lower than last-minute, especially for family rooms. Early booking is common for major chains, and you should verify flexible cancellation terms when reserving.
- Reserve in Lara or Kundu for large, all-inclusive resort hotels with private beaches and family features such as water parks. Both are within 6-12 km (4-7.5 mi) of Antalya Airport, and most offer direct transfer services - confirm availability with your hotel before arrival.
- Pick Konyaaltı for a 7 km (4.3 mi) public pebble beach with promenade and direct bus or tram links (Lines KL08, T1A/B) to the city center. Chain hotels and apartments with kitchenettes are widely available, which suit longer stays and families.
- Select Kaleiçi (Old Town) if you want boutique hotels in Ottoman-era buildings. Limited vehicle access and stairs are common, so request accessible or ground floor rooms in writing, as elevator access is uncommon in historic properties.
- Use licensed HAVAŞ airport shuttles or official ride-hailing apps (BiTaksi, iTaksi) from Antalya Airport to your hotel to avoid unmetered taxi overcharges. Airport-city fares average 75-100 TRY (approx. $2.50-$3.25 USD) as of early 2024.
- Stay in Konyaaltı or Lara areas where hotels often hold Blue Flag beach quality status. Select a property with private or immediate promenade access for consistent beach entry and clean water, and confirm the latest Blue Flag status online if needed.
- Buy a local SIM or eSIM at Antalya Airport (Turkcell or Vodafone TR kiosks). Data plans typically cost 300-600 TRY (approx. $10-$20 USD) and offer faster speeds than busy resort Wi-Fi, which is often slower during peak months.
- When paying by card, decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) and choose Turkish Lira (TRY) to avoid extra fees and weaker rates. If unsure, ask your hotel’s front desk or point-of-sale staff for clarification.
- Anticipate timeshare or club membership pitches in some large resorts, particularly in Lara and Kundu. Decline unwanted offers politely, and do not accept free gifts or transfers linked to promotional sales.
- Tipping is customary: allow 5-10 TRY per porter or housekeeper per service, and 5-10% for restaurant table service. Most hotel staff prefer Turkish Lira; larger chains often include service charges on à la carte bills.
