Location to US Embassy was excellent. Also, lots of "walking-distance" amenities very near the hotel.
It's the room & service always on time.
Everybody's nice and very helpful. The front desk lady gave me a room with a view of the Manila bay.

One would be fortunate to stay here and see for themselves. It's well run, clean, quiet, safe, affordable, and absolutely accommodating from management, Donna, to the entire staff. You will feel the positive energy and understand that once you stay.

Cleanliness, buffet was good. Kudos to the Chef.
The location. The hotel is close to Century Mall, shops, stores, restaurants, clubs, and bars. It is very lively in the evenings but very quiet during the day. Getting a ride if you need one is easy. Whether you want a car or motor, they are everywhere.

This place was pretty nice, but there were some serious issues which would make it unlikely for me to return. Decent little Cafe on 2nd floor that was easy to reach via escalator. Skip the overpriced, so-so breakfast if it's not included in your reservtn.
Close to the MOA.
The staff was nice and helpful.

The room was fairly large, and the beds were comfortable. The room and the hotel were clean and safe. They have a small complimentary breakfast, transportation services, and foreign exchange service. They're right across the street from a rail-line.
Room rate is reasonable; easy access to airport; transportation is readily provided on site and fees are reasonable. We messed up the bathroom and called for the Housekeeper who did an excellent service of disinfecting the bathroom.
Brilliant . They don¿t pressure us , specially we encountered problems with our airlines , they allowed us to stay after due time . And so honest they called us that our phone was left in the room. Lovely staff and Manager and the hotel porters

It was my husband and his brother who stayed in this hotel for my husbands medical examination at St. Lukes. The walk from the hotel to the clinic was just less than 5mins, very convenient. Would book again next year and would definitely read more info.

Top Tips
- Plan airport transfers with generous time buffers. NAIA to Makati or BGC usually takes 25-45 minutes off-peak but can climb to 60-120+ minutes during rush hour or after rain. Book an official NAIA coupon taxi or Grab for licensed, metered fares and predictable pickup. For travelers with accessibility needs, request vehicles with step-free access when booking.
- Most hotel room rates in Manila are subject to a 12% VAT and a 10% service charge, usually added on top of the posted prices. To avoid surprise charges, compare the total price (not just the base rate) on booking platforms before confirming.
- Request to pay in Philippine pesos (PHP) at hotel check-out to avoid dynamic currency conversion (DCC), which often adds a 2-4% markup. Card issuers typically offer better conversion rates, and paying in cash can avoid conversion fees.
- Choose your Manila neighborhood to match your activities and personal safety needs. Makati is the main banking and business district with increased late-night police visibility, while BGC features a newer grid, wider sidewalks, and app-based taxis. Areas such as Ermita, Malate, and Chinatown/Binondo offer lower rates but see higher petty crime at night, so avoid walking alone late in these districts.
- Book at least 6-12 weeks in advance for peak periods like December 20-January 5, or dates around major conventions at SMX or World Trade Center. Room supply tightens and rates often increase sharply during these windows, so advance booking secures better availability and pricing.
- If reliable internet is essential, verify actual speeds before booking. Expect 20-150 Mbps in 4-5 star hotels, but only 5-25 Mbps in budget guesthouses. Request wired Ethernet or a guaranteed minimum Mbps if you need stable video conferencing or uploads.
- Tap water in Manila is generally not safe to drink. Most hotels supply 1-2 free bottles of filtered water per room per night. Ask about extra complimentary bottles if you need more, especially if you are traveling with children or elders.
- ATM operator fees for international cards average ₱200 (about $3.50 USD) per withdrawal, plus possible foreign transaction fees. To reduce charges, withdraw larger amounts or pay by card where available. Most international hotels in Manila accept Visa, MasterCard, and AmEx.
- Follow Philippine tipping norms. If a 10% service charge appears on your bill, no further tip is required. Otherwise, it is customary to tip ₱50-₱150 (approx. $0.90-$2.60 USD) per night to bellhops or housekeeping. Adjust for stay duration or group size.
- Request accessible or step-free rooms, especially in heritage properties in Intramuros, Binondo, and Ermita, where stairs and narrow corridors are common. Ask about elevator or ramp access at booking, as retrofits can be limited in older hotels.
- Power supply in Manila is 220V/60Hz. Brief outages can occur during typhoons, even at major hotels. Many have backup generators, but pack a universal adapter and a small surge protector to protect electronics and charge devices safely.
