We loved everything !! The staff were ALL very polite and professional. Every employee greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything and how we were enjoying our stay and they all seemed genuine.
This was our first visit to Pittsburgh and The Landing did not disappoint. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and nice decor. The included breakfast had surprisingly good eggs, bacon and waffles along with an assortment of breads, pastries and fruits. We appreciated the water filling station in the lobby, too. We were there for a Pirates game and barely had enough time to get to the ballpark after check-in. The front desk advised us of a golf cart shuttle available for $5/person. This was a lifesaver. We arrived at the park just in time for the National Anthem! If we get to Pittsburgh again we would definitely stay at The Landing.
The breakfast was very good, plenty of food and refreshments.

Real Review: This is a unique independent hotel with fantastic and gracious owners. One of the first things that you will notice upon arrival is that the hotel is located in an industrial section of S Pittsburgh. It used to be an office building for a steel related company. Their website says that the building was first built in 1883. The owners did a four year renovation of the building. If this were a classic car, you would refer to this as a "rotisserie-frame off" restoration. Everything is clean, spotless, well-painted, well-laid out, and very comfortable.The communal area of the hotel serves as the lobby. It has an open kitchen on one side, And a very nice breakfast is provided although it is a serve yourself affair. The lobby smells like good coffee, leather furniture, and wood. It's a very comfortable place to relax and take in the morning or the evening. We brought in our own bottle of champagne and were pleased to find that nice wine glasses. If you are tired of the sterile, corporate hotel scene, this environment is intimate and wonderfully relaxing.It turns out this hotel caters to bicycle riders. we didn't know that when we booked the hotel. There is a bicycle garage attached to the hotel where you can work on your bike or clean your bike. During our stay there was a large group of cyclists that were heading out on an extended journey the following morning. In general, I have always found bicycle riders to be very gracious people. I guess you can assume that the crowd that attends this hotel would be good people to hang out with.The neighborhood is full of bars and restaurants and pubs and places to eat and listen to music and entertain yourself. It is walking distance from the hotel, But it's a good five or six blocks just to get to the edge of the entertainment district. We had a wonderful dinner at DISH, And I met some great people along the way.I also enjoy a big shower.

Everything was above and beyond! From the minute we walked in the door till we left. Staff friendly helpful and professional. The room was very spacious and accommodating for my dad who is in a wheelchair. We also travel with a service dog - and couldn't have asked for more support that than they gave us. We also had an issue with a fall my dad took in the bathroom. They were there immediately to help, make sure he wasn't hurt, and get him back into his chair. We were stranded because of airline cancellations - thank you for making 2 days that could have been miserable - a very enjoyable time. We will be staying and see you guys again!
The room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was hearty and delicious.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were filling. They had soda, tea, and coffee available 24/7. The popcorn from 4-8 was nice. They had a pool and hot tub too which we used every day. The beds were comfortable, plenty of storage space (including a closet), and the room was perfect for what we needed. All in all a great value.

My stay is fantastic and it usually is the upgrades that they have done to this hotel are great.
Facility partially under construction, which we didn't know about, or we would not have paid the asking price to stay. Staff is excellent, professional, accommodating. Usual, basic breakfast fare, heated omelletes, sausage, make-your-own waffles, assorted baked goods, oatmeal.

The beds were very comfy, room was spacious, nice view from room, and decent breakfast. The pool and hot tub were one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Free parking was a plus! Great location in Pittsburgh.

We were overly impressed from the very beginning! All staff was personable, welcoming, and helpful. Room was very clean and so nice! Well maintained and clean! We are most impressed with dinner! First time we ever stayed in a hotel that offers dinner and what a fabulous surprise that was! Saved us time and gave us a chance to relax before going to a show. We also enjoyed being able to visit with other guests over dinner. Such a wonderful surprising stay! We decided that this is the hotel we will always stay at when visiting Pittsburgh. Hands down the best experience ever!

They put us on (almost) the top floor without me asking. We paid for a river view which was totally worth it. We didn't try the restaurant or bar. We would absolutely stay here again. Location was great. We went to the symphony which was right next door.

I loved the view of our hotel room. It was gorgeous and looked right out toward PNC park and the steelers field. The room itself was clean and well kept. Overall, enjoyable experience and the atmosphere of the hotel was very nice. I have stayed at a lot of hotels. This was definitely up in my favorites.

Room was comfortable as was the bed. Cozy and a great downtown view. Close to the subway which is how we arrived. Great restaurants, Tap room, Pop up bar, and Afternoon High Tea. All were great experiences. Beautiful decorated main lobby area with great seating. Enjoyed the Bethel Park HS choir concert that performed on Friday. Front desk staff were very helpful and a smooth checkin and checkout.
The Omnin William Penn is a beautiful grand old hotel that has been wonderfully maintained with most of the historical architecture preserved. It felt like I had transported back to another world and time when life was more genteel. The staff were all very kind, polite, and helpful. The room was specious with extremely comfortable beds; actually the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. The rooms also maintain their historic charm, but with nice, beautiful updated fixtures and facilities such as newly tiled tub, new closet doors, new lighting, etc. I came down for the Paul McCartney concert on November 11, 2025, and it was an easy walk to the venue, the PPG Arena. The William Penn retains its beautiful Terrace Room dining room, Taps Room, and other amenities.

Everything was above and beyond! From the minute we walked in the door till we left. Staff friendly helpful and professional. The room was very spacious and accommodating for my dad who is in a wheelchair. We also travel with a service dog - and couldn't have asked for more support that than they gave us. We also had an issue with a fall my dad took in the bathroom. They were there immediately to help, make sure he wasn't hurt, and get him back into his chair. We were stranded because of airline cancellations - thank you for making 2 days that could have been miserable - a very enjoyable time. We will be staying and see you guys again!

Facility partially under construction, which we didn't know about, or we would not have paid the asking price to stay. Staff is excellent, professional, accommodating. Usual, basic breakfast fare, heated omelletes, sausage, make-your-own waffles, assorted baked goods, oatmeal.

The beds were very comfy, room was spacious, nice view from room, and decent breakfast. The pool and hot tub were one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Free parking was a plus! Great location in Pittsburgh.
Free Parking was great, as was the front office staff, Holly in particular. Breakfast was much better than usual. Overall it was a very good experience in a well0located hotel.

We loved everything !! The staff were ALL very polite and professional. Every employee greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything and how we were enjoying our stay and they all seemed genuine.
This was our first visit to Pittsburgh and The Landing did not disappoint. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and nice decor. The included breakfast had surprisingly good eggs, bacon and waffles along with an assortment of breads, pastries and fruits. We appreciated the water filling station in the lobby, too. We were there for a Pirates game and barely had enough time to get to the ballpark after check-in. The front desk advised us of a golf cart shuttle available for $5/person. This was a lifesaver. We arrived at the park just in time for the National Anthem! If we get to Pittsburgh again we would definitely stay at The Landing.
The breakfast was very good, plenty of food and refreshments.

Real Review: This is a unique independent hotel with fantastic and gracious owners. One of the first things that you will notice upon arrival is that the hotel is located in an industrial section of S Pittsburgh. It used to be an office building for a steel related company. Their website says that the building was first built in 1883. The owners did a four year renovation of the building. If this were a classic car, you would refer to this as a "rotisserie-frame off" restoration. Everything is clean, spotless, well-painted, well-laid out, and very comfortable.The communal area of the hotel serves as the lobby. It has an open kitchen on one side, And a very nice breakfast is provided although it is a serve yourself affair. The lobby smells like good coffee, leather furniture, and wood. It's a very comfortable place to relax and take in the morning or the evening. We brought in our own bottle of champagne and were pleased to find that nice wine glasses. If you are tired of the sterile, corporate hotel scene, this environment is intimate and wonderfully relaxing.It turns out this hotel caters to bicycle riders. we didn't know that when we booked the hotel. There is a bicycle garage attached to the hotel where you can work on your bike or clean your bike. During our stay there was a large group of cyclists that were heading out on an extended journey the following morning. In general, I have always found bicycle riders to be very gracious people. I guess you can assume that the crowd that attends this hotel would be good people to hang out with.The neighborhood is full of bars and restaurants and pubs and places to eat and listen to music and entertain yourself. It is walking distance from the hotel, But it's a good five or six blocks just to get to the edge of the entertainment district. We had a wonderful dinner at DISH, And I met some great people along the way.I also enjoy a big shower.

I don't remember why I picked this hotel for an overnight after seeing Fallingwater. It's not central. What was I thinking! But it turned out to be our favorite place of our vacation. Clean, attractive, nice location, efficient service, good people. They rolled our room service in on a table, like in the movies, instead of handing you a dish at the door like most places. We also ate in the restaurant which had good service, good food and a pleasant atmosphere. One employee bragged to us about the many celebrities that have stayed there over the years--maybe it is the go-to place for people in the know?

We were overly impressed from the very beginning! All staff was personable, welcoming, and helpful. Room was very clean and so nice! Well maintained and clean! We are most impressed with dinner! First time we ever stayed in a hotel that offers dinner and what a fabulous surprise that was! Saved us time and gave us a chance to relax before going to a show. We also enjoyed being able to visit with other guests over dinner. Such a wonderful surprising stay! We decided that this is the hotel we will always stay at when visiting Pittsburgh. Hands down the best experience ever!

This hotel is a perfect area for convention stays, it's next to the convention and it has excellent service and quality, breakfast has a unique serving but it is good quality. Even a four person room could hold up six people if you really tried, it's roomy enough for it, and the bathrooms are of decent quality. Affordable!

Everything was above and beyond! From the minute we walked in the door till we left. Staff friendly helpful and professional. The room was very spacious and accommodating for my dad who is in a wheelchair. We also travel with a service dog - and couldn't have asked for more support that than they gave us. We also had an issue with a fall my dad took in the bathroom. They were there immediately to help, make sure he wasn't hurt, and get him back into his chair. We were stranded because of airline cancellations - thank you for making 2 days that could have been miserable - a very enjoyable time. We will be staying and see you guys again!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were filling. They had soda, tea, and coffee available 24/7. The popcorn from 4-8 was nice. They had a pool and hot tub too which we used every day. The beds were comfortable, plenty of storage space (including a closet), and the room was perfect for what we needed. All in all a great value.

We were overly impressed from the very beginning! All staff was personable, welcoming, and helpful. Room was very clean and so nice! Well maintained and clean! We are most impressed with dinner! First time we ever stayed in a hotel that offers dinner and what a fabulous surprise that was! Saved us time and gave us a chance to relax before going to a show. We also enjoyed being able to visit with other guests over dinner. Such a wonderful surprising stay! We decided that this is the hotel we will always stay at when visiting Pittsburgh. Hands down the best experience ever!

Room was comfortable as was the bed. Cozy and a great downtown view. Close to the subway which is how we arrived. Great restaurants, Tap room, Pop up bar, and Afternoon High Tea. All were great experiences. Beautiful decorated main lobby area with great seating. Enjoyed the Bethel Park HS choir concert that performed on Friday. Front desk staff were very helpful and a smooth checkin and checkout.
The Omnin William Penn is a beautiful grand old hotel that has been wonderfully maintained with most of the historical architecture preserved. It felt like I had transported back to another world and time when life was more genteel. The staff were all very kind, polite, and helpful. The room was specious with extremely comfortable beds; actually the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. The rooms also maintain their historic charm, but with nice, beautiful updated fixtures and facilities such as newly tiled tub, new closet doors, new lighting, etc. I came down for the Paul McCartney concert on November 11, 2025, and it was an easy walk to the venue, the PPG Arena. The William Penn retains its beautiful Terrace Room dining room, Taps Room, and other amenities.

The best part about this hotel is the location. You are close to many stores, restaurants and attractions and close to the heart of the city. Our view of the river was awesome and we were able to see coal barges go by. The hotel is also near walking/running trails on the river.

I don't remember why I picked this hotel for an overnight after seeing Fallingwater. It's not central. What was I thinking! But it turned out to be our favorite place of our vacation. Clean, attractive, nice location, efficient service, good people. They rolled our room service in on a table, like in the movies, instead of handing you a dish at the door like most places. We also ate in the restaurant which had good service, good food and a pleasant atmosphere. One employee bragged to us about the many celebrities that have stayed there over the years--maybe it is the go-to place for people in the know?

The hotel location was great as there are options where to eat. My room was perfect and nosise level was non existent I was able to relax and get a goodnight sleep both nights. Would definitely recommend this hotel for those traveling to Pittsburgh.

This hotel is a perfect area for convention stays, it's next to the convention and it has excellent service and quality, breakfast has a unique serving but it is good quality. Even a four person room could hold up six people if you really tried, it's roomy enough for it, and the bathrooms are of decent quality. Affordable!

We loved everything !! The staff were ALL very polite and professional. Every employee greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything and how we were enjoying our stay and they all seemed genuine.
This was our first visit to Pittsburgh and The Landing did not disappoint. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and nice decor. The included breakfast had surprisingly good eggs, bacon and waffles along with an assortment of breads, pastries and fruits. We appreciated the water filling station in the lobby, too. We were there for a Pirates game and barely had enough time to get to the ballpark after check-in. The front desk advised us of a golf cart shuttle available for $5/person. This was a lifesaver. We arrived at the park just in time for the National Anthem! If we get to Pittsburgh again we would definitely stay at The Landing.
The breakfast was very good, plenty of food and refreshments.

Real Review: This is a unique independent hotel with fantastic and gracious owners. One of the first things that you will notice upon arrival is that the hotel is located in an industrial section of S Pittsburgh. It used to be an office building for a steel related company. Their website says that the building was first built in 1883. The owners did a four year renovation of the building. If this were a classic car, you would refer to this as a "rotisserie-frame off" restoration. Everything is clean, spotless, well-painted, well-laid out, and very comfortable.The communal area of the hotel serves as the lobby. It has an open kitchen on one side, And a very nice breakfast is provided although it is a serve yourself affair. The lobby smells like good coffee, leather furniture, and wood. It's a very comfortable place to relax and take in the morning or the evening. We brought in our own bottle of champagne and were pleased to find that nice wine glasses. If you are tired of the sterile, corporate hotel scene, this environment is intimate and wonderfully relaxing.It turns out this hotel caters to bicycle riders. we didn't know that when we booked the hotel. There is a bicycle garage attached to the hotel where you can work on your bike or clean your bike. During our stay there was a large group of cyclists that were heading out on an extended journey the following morning. In general, I have always found bicycle riders to be very gracious people. I guess you can assume that the crowd that attends this hotel would be good people to hang out with.The neighborhood is full of bars and restaurants and pubs and places to eat and listen to music and entertain yourself. It is walking distance from the hotel, But it's a good five or six blocks just to get to the edge of the entertainment district. We had a wonderful dinner at DISH, And I met some great people along the way.I also enjoy a big shower.

Everything was above and beyond! From the minute we walked in the door till we left. Staff friendly helpful and professional. The room was very spacious and accommodating for my dad who is in a wheelchair. We also travel with a service dog - and couldn't have asked for more support that than they gave us. We also had an issue with a fall my dad took in the bathroom. They were there immediately to help, make sure he wasn't hurt, and get him back into his chair. We were stranded because of airline cancellations - thank you for making 2 days that could have been miserable - a very enjoyable time. We will be staying and see you guys again!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were filling. They had soda, tea, and coffee available 24/7. The popcorn from 4-8 was nice. They had a pool and hot tub too which we used every day. The beds were comfortable, plenty of storage space (including a closet), and the room was perfect for what we needed. All in all a great value.

I don't remember why I picked this hotel for an overnight after seeing Fallingwater. It's not central. What was I thinking! But it turned out to be our favorite place of our vacation. Clean, attractive, nice location, efficient service, good people. They rolled our room service in on a table, like in the movies, instead of handing you a dish at the door like most places. We also ate in the restaurant which had good service, good food and a pleasant atmosphere. One employee bragged to us about the many celebrities that have stayed there over the years--maybe it is the go-to place for people in the know?

This is a very comfortable, downtown, clean, friendly staff hotel with easy access parking. We were a bit leary with the street entrance that takes you to an elevator up to registration. Turned out to be a nice inviting hotel. Staff is helpful and friendly. Room was clean and had nice amenities. Dog friendly in a great location was nice too. Breakfast was very nice and the restaurant made it easy to order and take up to the room. Lots of restaurants & things to do nearby. Would recommend. We thought it was a good value...Kind, informative Staff was a HUGE bonus.

Location was good for what we came here for. Uber/Lyft drive downtown was good distance to where it wasn't bad. Room was as described. Tons of space kitchen was nice but didn't use. Bed was oh so comfy. Could have slept in longer it was good.

They put us on (almost) the top floor without me asking. We paid for a river view which was totally worth it. We didn't try the restaurant or bar. We would absolutely stay here again. Location was great. We went to the symphony which was right next door.

I loved the view of our hotel room. It was gorgeous and looked right out toward PNC park and the steelers field. The room itself was clean and well kept. Overall, enjoyable experience and the atmosphere of the hotel was very nice. I have stayed at a lot of hotels. This was definitely up in my favorites.

We loved everything !! The staff were ALL very polite and professional. Every employee greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything and how we were enjoying our stay and they all seemed genuine.
This was our first visit to Pittsburgh and The Landing did not disappoint. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and nice decor. The included breakfast had surprisingly good eggs, bacon and waffles along with an assortment of breads, pastries and fruits. We appreciated the water filling station in the lobby, too. We were there for a Pirates game and barely had enough time to get to the ballpark after check-in. The front desk advised us of a golf cart shuttle available for $5/person. This was a lifesaver. We arrived at the park just in time for the National Anthem! If we get to Pittsburgh again we would definitely stay at The Landing.
The breakfast was very good, plenty of food and refreshments.

There was quite a bit of snow on our second day at the hotel. One of the chefs wasn't able to make it in and they were short staffed. However, Lily-Rose and a few other staff members did an excellent job making up for it. They extended the breakfast time so we could get breakfast and even compted one of our meals.Also, the gate for the parking was having issues and I had to call in several time to get the gate open. When I check out, the hotel covered my parking cost due to the inconvenience. Overall, any issues were quickly taken care of and the staff were absolutely brilliant!I average about 150 hotel nights a year so I am familiar with good hotel protical. This hotel did great!
Location is great and the rooms are very nice. Everything was super clean.

Everything was above and beyond! From the minute we walked in the door till we left. Staff friendly helpful and professional. The room was very spacious and accommodating for my dad who is in a wheelchair. We also travel with a service dog - and couldn't have asked for more support that than they gave us. We also had an issue with a fall my dad took in the bathroom. They were there immediately to help, make sure he wasn't hurt, and get him back into his chair. We were stranded because of airline cancellations - thank you for making 2 days that could have been miserable - a very enjoyable time. We will be staying and see you guys again!
The room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was hearty and delicious.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were filling. They had soda, tea, and coffee available 24/7. The popcorn from 4-8 was nice. They had a pool and hot tub too which we used every day. The beds were comfortable, plenty of storage space (including a closet), and the room was perfect for what we needed. All in all a great value.

We were overly impressed from the very beginning! All staff was personable, welcoming, and helpful. Room was very clean and so nice! Well maintained and clean! We are most impressed with dinner! First time we ever stayed in a hotel that offers dinner and what a fabulous surprise that was! Saved us time and gave us a chance to relax before going to a show. We also enjoyed being able to visit with other guests over dinner. Such a wonderful surprising stay! We decided that this is the hotel we will always stay at when visiting Pittsburgh. Hands down the best experience ever!

Room was comfortable as was the bed. Cozy and a great downtown view. Close to the subway which is how we arrived. Great restaurants, Tap room, Pop up bar, and Afternoon High Tea. All were great experiences. Beautiful decorated main lobby area with great seating. Enjoyed the Bethel Park HS choir concert that performed on Friday. Front desk staff were very helpful and a smooth checkin and checkout.
The Omnin William Penn is a beautiful grand old hotel that has been wonderfully maintained with most of the historical architecture preserved. It felt like I had transported back to another world and time when life was more genteel. The staff were all very kind, polite, and helpful. The room was specious with extremely comfortable beds; actually the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. The rooms also maintain their historic charm, but with nice, beautiful updated fixtures and facilities such as newly tiled tub, new closet doors, new lighting, etc. I came down for the Paul McCartney concert on November 11, 2025, and it was an easy walk to the venue, the PPG Arena. The William Penn retains its beautiful Terrace Room dining room, Taps Room, and other amenities.

We loved everything !! The staff were ALL very polite and professional. Every employee greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything and how we were enjoying our stay and they all seemed genuine.
This was our first visit to Pittsburgh and The Landing did not disappoint. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and nice decor. The included breakfast had surprisingly good eggs, bacon and waffles along with an assortment of breads, pastries and fruits. We appreciated the water filling station in the lobby, too. We were there for a Pirates game and barely had enough time to get to the ballpark after check-in. The front desk advised us of a golf cart shuttle available for $5/person. This was a lifesaver. We arrived at the park just in time for the National Anthem! If we get to Pittsburgh again we would definitely stay at The Landing.

The location was perfect. The front desk staff and manager were extremely helpful. The room was large and clean. Parking was expensive but easy. Close enough to walk to restaurants and the stadium.
The location to PNC Park cannot be beat. It was great that there is parking available on site. The room was very spacious. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of variety.

Real Review: This is a unique independent hotel with fantastic and gracious owners. One of the first things that you will notice upon arrival is that the hotel is located in an industrial section of S Pittsburgh. It used to be an office building for a steel related company. Their website says that the building was first built in 1883. The owners did a four year renovation of the building. If this were a classic car, you would refer to this as a "rotisserie-frame off" restoration. Everything is clean, spotless, well-painted, well-laid out, and very comfortable.The communal area of the hotel serves as the lobby. It has an open kitchen on one side, And a very nice breakfast is provided although it is a serve yourself affair. The lobby smells like good coffee, leather furniture, and wood. It's a very comfortable place to relax and take in the morning or the evening. We brought in our own bottle of champagne and were pleased to find that nice wine glasses. If you are tired of the sterile, corporate hotel scene, this environment is intimate and wonderfully relaxing.It turns out this hotel caters to bicycle riders. we didn't know that when we booked the hotel. There is a bicycle garage attached to the hotel where you can work on your bike or clean your bike. During our stay there was a large group of cyclists that were heading out on an extended journey the following morning. In general, I have always found bicycle riders to be very gracious people. I guess you can assume that the crowd that attends this hotel would be good people to hang out with.The neighborhood is full of bars and restaurants and pubs and places to eat and listen to music and entertain yourself. It is walking distance from the hotel, But it's a good five or six blocks just to get to the edge of the entertainment district. We had a wonderful dinner at DISH, And I met some great people along the way.I also enjoy a big shower.

Everything was above and beyond! From the minute we walked in the door till we left. Staff friendly helpful and professional. The room was very spacious and accommodating for my dad who is in a wheelchair. We also travel with a service dog - and couldn't have asked for more support that than they gave us. We also had an issue with a fall my dad took in the bathroom. They were there immediately to help, make sure he wasn't hurt, and get him back into his chair. We were stranded because of airline cancellations - thank you for making 2 days that could have been miserable - a very enjoyable time. We will be staying and see you guys again!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were filling. They had soda, tea, and coffee available 24/7. The popcorn from 4-8 was nice. They had a pool and hot tub too which we used every day. The beds were comfortable, plenty of storage space (including a closet), and the room was perfect for what we needed. All in all a great value.

I don't remember why I picked this hotel for an overnight after seeing Fallingwater. It's not central. What was I thinking! But it turned out to be our favorite place of our vacation. Clean, attractive, nice location, efficient service, good people. They rolled our room service in on a table, like in the movies, instead of handing you a dish at the door like most places. We also ate in the restaurant which had good service, good food and a pleasant atmosphere. One employee bragged to us about the many celebrities that have stayed there over the years--maybe it is the go-to place for people in the know?

We were overly impressed from the very beginning! All staff was personable, welcoming, and helpful. Room was very clean and so nice! Well maintained and clean! We are most impressed with dinner! First time we ever stayed in a hotel that offers dinner and what a fabulous surprise that was! Saved us time and gave us a chance to relax before going to a show. We also enjoyed being able to visit with other guests over dinner. Such a wonderful surprising stay! We decided that this is the hotel we will always stay at when visiting Pittsburgh. Hands down the best experience ever!

The best part about this hotel is the location. You are close to many stores, restaurants and attractions and close to the heart of the city. Our view of the river was awesome and we were able to see coal barges go by. The hotel is also near walking/running trails on the river.

The Sheraton seemed fairly recently remodeled. Room was spacious and clean. Enjoyed the Key Lime Cheesecake at the Factory, but note that the kitchen closes at 10.00 pm. Bar staff were super nice. Easy walk to the Monongahela Incline, which is a must do. Stunning views at night!

Room was comfortable as was the bed. Cozy and a great downtown view. Close to the subway which is how we arrived. Great restaurants, Tap room, Pop up bar, and Afternoon High Tea. All were great experiences. Beautiful decorated main lobby area with great seating. Enjoyed the Bethel Park HS choir concert that performed on Friday. The Omnin William Penn is a beautiful grand old hotel that has been wonderfully maintained with most of the historical architecture preserved. It felt like I had transported back to another world and time when life was more genteel. The staff were all very kind, polite, and helpful. The room was specious with extremely comfortable beds; actually the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. The rooms also maintain their historic charm, but with nice, beautiful updated fixtures and facilities such as newly tiled tub, new closet doors, new lighting, etc. I came down for the Paul McCartney concert on November 11, 2025, and it was an easy walk to the venue, the PPG Arena. The William Penn retains its beautiful Terrace Room dining room, Taps Room, and other amenities.

We were overly impressed from the very beginning! All staff was personable, welcoming, and helpful. Room was very clean and so nice! Well maintained and clean! We are most impressed with dinner! First time we ever stayed in a hotel that offers dinner and what a fabulous surprise that was! Saved us time and gave us a chance to relax before going to a show. We also enjoyed being able to visit with other guests over dinner. Such a wonderful surprising stay! We decided that this is the hotel we will always stay at when visiting Pittsburgh. Hands down the best experience ever!

The Staff was outstanding, special recognition to Rita, Jasmine, Jannie, Frankie, Ant, Heather, and Richard. The hotel and room was clean, great meals, and service. I will definitely use the Drury hotel whenever I visit Pittsburgh again or anywhere there is a Drury Hotel.
