Clean, modern, good room temperature, all room appliances in working condition, comfortable bed, attentive and friendly staff, distance from room to parking lot and dining areas are great.
They automatically cleaned our room each day, just like it used to be, but hotels have gotten away from that.

It's closeness to the airport and free shuttle service.
It was conveniently located from GSR just 4 minutes away. I recommend staying at GSR this place was a little cheaper but needs major upgrades.

Very comfortable bed and great shower
It?s so nice to stay and park your car and fly out. We are NV residents so it?s nice to have a great place to stay since we live 1 1/2 hrs away and always deal with leaving when it snowing. Staying overnight is so much more convenient for us.
The staff was helpful and personable, the room was large, clean and nicely decorated, breakfast was great. The water in the lobby and the available coffee was a nice feature. A touch of hospitality, made us feel appreciated.

Nice modern hotel. Although I did go to the front desk 3x and talked to the hotel staff about the noise level above my room it was like a herd of elephants above me they kept dropping chairs running interrupting my peace. It was beyond rude.

Top Tips
- Book Reno hotels 6 to 16 weeks ahead for major events like Hot August Nights (early August) or Burning Man (late August or early September) to avoid sellouts and rate surges. Expect rates to climb and rooms to sell out during these popular dates.
- Expect short airport transfers from Reno-Tahoe International (RNO), which is about 4 miles (6 km) south of downtown. Rideshares typically take 10-20 minutes; confirm your pick-up point at RNO before arrival.
- Check for mandatory resort or amenity fees, typically $15 to $35 USD per night, at Reno’s casino and resort hotels. Verify if Wi-Fi, parking, or pool access are included before comparing published nightly rates.
- Sign up for specific casino player clubs, such as those on Virginia Street, before your arrival and present your card at check-in to access targeted rate codes and onsite comps.
- If you are sensitive to smoke, request a non-smoking or hypoallergenic room type during booking. Many Reno casino hotels still operate smoking casino floors, so consider asking the front desk to confirm your room location and features on arrival for added comfort.
- Reno tap water is safe to drink. Carry a reusable bottle to reduce waste and higher bottled water costs, especially for day trips to Lake Tahoe and ski areas; accessible water stations are available at most modern hotels.
- Allow 40-90 minutes to drive from Reno to Lake Tahoe ski areas in winter. Check Nevada DOT for chain or traction requirements on SR431 (Mount Rose Highway) and I-580/I-80 during storms, and consider shuttle options if your rental car does not have all-wheel drive.
- Request river-facing, highway-facing, or higher-floor rooms in casino hotels to reduce ambient noise from 24/7 slot floors and nightclubs.
- Casino ATMs commonly charge transaction fees, usually $3 to $6 USD per withdrawal. Reduce costs by withdrawing larger amounts or ask the front desk about no-fee ATM partnerships, cash advance options, or possible fee refunds if you belong to a higher-tier hotel loyalty program.
