The cleanliness and location
The rooms have been updated and had a real modern feel. We loved the breakfast that was provided next door at the sit down restaurant. We paid a few extra dollars and had just a fantastic breakfast. Just amazing!
Only the location, next door to sports bar with decent food.

The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast bar that was provided was acceptable.
Nothing extraordinary. Just right for the money
The hotel was located right where we needed to be downtown. The breakfast was served cafeteria style, so there was a little learning curve, but overall was very good. The room and bed were very comfortable.

The hotel is new, the continental breakfast is great and they have an outdoor hot tub.
Service was excellent. They upgraded us to a handicapped room and let us check in early. That was wonderful, since our car has broken down and we had no place to rest.
The room and bathroom were very nice. A newer hotel, staff were good. A very safe location. I definitely would stay here again if I got a good rate.

Top Tips
- Book hotels 4 or more weeks ahead when attending Mountain Home Air Force Base events, as rates can rise by 30-50% over off-peak weekends and many chains sell out. Compare flexible and advance purchase rates for best value.
- State and local taxes add 8-9%, plus a city occupancy fee of up to 2%—on a $150 room, this totals $15 to $20 extra per night. Major hotel chains display all taxes and fees at checkout; verify final total before confirming.
- Select hotels along Highway 20 for faster base access, as most major chains cluster here near dining and groceries. This corridor reports lower offsite incident rates than less populated areas.
- Most major hotels provide free Wi-Fi averaging 50-100 Mbps, but outages can affect all plans in rural Idaho. If remote work is critical, ask the front desk about recent network reliability or use a mobile hotspot as backup.
- Local temperatures can vary from -5°F in winter to 95°F in summer. While most chain hotels have modern climate control, older or independent properties may not, so confirm HVAC details if you are sensitive to extremes.
