Clean, quiet, nice breakfast.
The hotel is always clean and your room is personalized with TV when you get in room and the soap and shampoo and conditioner are the best unlike other hotels only if they had that stuff for sale

We love the convenience, cleanliness, breakfasts and friendly and helpful staff!
Hotel employee who staffed the nighttime desk, was amazing! He joyfully and kindly answered all of our questions. When we booked this location, it said spa options were available, but they were not. Hotel employee provided us with chilled sliced cucumbers & etc.
The continental breakfast was hot and delicious. It was two different meals each day that we stayed. Check-in was simple and the staff was friendly--she even provided us with two bottles of complimentary water. Location was perfect for our needs.

What I liked best was the restaurant. Hotel employee is our favorite waitress. She works so hard and provides service with utmost kindness and care.
it was not a crappy motel with criminals outside your door waiting to rob you like some other places in FL. Nice enough area, most of what you want to eat is just a walk down the main street. free parking is available next to the resorts paid parking.

Hotel employee was very welcoming at the front desk. I have never seen a mini fridge with a separate freezer & was very handy because I am on a special diet & we were in town for a softball tournament & I have to put ice packs in my coolers to keep my food cold!

Top Tips
- Hotels in Tarpon Springs reach high demand around the Greek Orthodox Epiphany (Jan 6), with downtown rooms often sold out 6-8 weeks in advance. Book 1.5 to 2 months ahead to secure central lodging and stable rates.
- Staying within 0.5 miles of Tarpon Springs' Sponge Docks means a 10-12 minute walk to Greek restaurants and boat tours. Compare properties that advertise direct Sponge Docks access for more convenience.
- Hotels along US-19 typically offer rates up to 20% lower than downtown properties and include free parking. Downtown B&Bs often have limited parking; confirm your space in advance.
- Downtown parking lots fill quickly on weekends and event days, with overflow resulting in a 5-15 minute walk from hotels. Prioritize properties with reserved or private parking if you want to minimize walking distance.
- Hurricane season in Florida runs June 1 to November 30. Choose flexible cancellation policies or add trip insurance to cover possible power outages or travel delays.
- Properties near the Sponge Docks occupy historic buildings, many with only stair access. Confirm step-free entry or elevator availability if you need accessible accommodations.
- For remote work, verify with your hotel that in-room WiFi speeds meet your needs by asking for Mbps details, and inquire about quiet hours as some areas may be lively in the evening.
- Sponge Docks Greek restaurants often close their kitchens by 9-10 PM on weekdays. If arriving late, confirm dinner service end times directly with the property or restaurant to plan meals.
