Location and price is what drew me to it. Also, had a pool (that was closed).
There was a nice Taco Bell across the street w/ homeless people roaming around. The was a nice Sonic down the street where homeless people took food out of the trash and ate it. The City has a graffiti remediation van that roams around. Sheets were clean.
The price. When other motels we¿re over $--- this motel was priced right for the one night stay. It was clean and the bed was comfortable and a good pillow

Top Tips
- Reserve Pueblo hotels 30-60 days ahead of late August (Colorado State Fair) and early September (Pueblo Chile & Frijoles Festival) to secure availability, as central hotels often sell out. Explore properties with festival shuttle service or flexible cancellation; verify hotel policies, as event dates may change.
- Pueblo Memorial Airport (PUB) is about 6 miles (9.6 km) southeast of downtown, and commercial flights are limited. Arrange a rental car or pre-book a shuttle in advance, and ask if your hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle or has accessible transport options.
- Hotels along the I-25/Pueblo Boulevard corridor typically provide free onsite parking and are a 5-10 minute drive to downtown. Compare properties for step-free or accessible parking, and check for complimentary breakfast or evening socials to meet your needs.
- Staying within 0.2-0.6 miles (0.3-1 km) of the Arkansas Riverwalk gives walking access to most downtown dining and the convention center, while properties 0.6 miles or more away are generally quieter at night. Ask about river views, accessible rooms, or onsite dining and entertainment, if noise sensitivity is a concern.
- In July, Pueblo has average high temperatures near 93°F (34°C), so book rooms with reliable air conditioning and plan outdoor activities for mornings or late afternoons. Confirm if your hotel offers in-room climate control, pool access, or shaded outdoor spaces.
- Pueblo's elevation is about 4,692 feet (1,430 m), which is lower than Denver (5,280 ft) and Colorado Springs (6,035 ft), generally meaning milder altitude effects. Stay hydrated and check if the hotel supplies water bottles or humidifiers, especially if traveling from lower elevations.
- Many hotels charge a pet fee of $15-$35 USD per night or a single fee; confirm the exact policy before booking. Ask whether pet-friendly rooms are on lower floors, have access to green space, or if service animals are exempt per ADA guidelines.
- State Fair and Riverwalk event weeks can bring louder evenings and busier check-in times; consider booking a room away from the event side or at least 0.6 miles (1 km) from the venue for quieter stays. Request a higher-floor or soundproof room, and check if the property offers earplugs or other noise-reducing amenities.
