The living staff member was very helpful and friendly. The virtual assistant that we had to check in with was extremely annoying, the process was very tedious and we will NEVER stay at this hotel again which is unfortunate as we like staying there.

It was close to the highway
This hotel had the worst staff to work at any motel, one employee actually cussed at me and no one did anything about it she should be fired! Horrible, terrible worst experience, I will never stay at a Motel 6 again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Room had cockroaches. Room was dusty and the floors needed to be mopped, sink was dirty. Bed was so hard, it was like sleeping on the floor.I used the laundry and the dryer didn't heat, so I was left with a load of wet clothes.

The “quiet” side of the hotel was quite quiet. I liked that we could park right outside of our room as we were on the ground floor. Proximity to the outlet stores and to Mary Magdalene Chapel were pleasant surprises.(walking distance)
NOTHING!!!!
The room was very clean: beds, carpet, furniture, bathroom, and vanity. My bed was quite comfortable (although my companion in another room complained about hers). In addition, the price was substantially lower than most other hotels in Camarillo.

It was clean, comfortable, and close to cafes, restaurants, and shops. It was excellent value for what we spent.
friendly staff and clean rooms.
We liked the location and the little cafe had a great selection of dishes. There wasn't enough room in the dislike for the following feedback: the length of time it took for the shower water to be tolerable was ridiculous and wasted A LOT of water

Top Tips
- Prioritize hotels in the Ventura Harbor area for Channel Islands trips, as they are within a 5-minute walk of the ferry terminal, cutting transfer time and reducing risk of missing early departures.
- Opt for downtown or Main Street hotels for access to the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner station, located approximately 0.5-1 mile away, so you can avoid parking fees and late-arrival traffic.
- Verify hotel parking fees before booking to avoid surprise charges. Pier and beachfront lots use meters and fill early, and many Ventura hotels charge $15 to $25 per night for parking.
- If arriving from LAX, allow 60-90 minutes drive time on I-101 for travel to Ventura. Rush hour can add 20 minutes or more.
- Request a ground-floor or interior-corridor accessible room when booking older motels in Ventura for step-free access, as many properties are low-rise with exterior corridors and limited elevators.
- Book 3-6 weeks ahead for late-summer events such as the Ventura County Fair and holiday weekends to avoid last-minute price jumps of 25% or more for beachside rooms.
- Favor recognized hotel chains in Ventura for predictable Wi-Fi and business facilities. If speeds over 50 Mbps are needed for work, confirm upload/download requirements with the hotel.
- Ventura's municipal tap water meets drinking-water standards. Travelers with severe sensitivities should request bottled water or contact hotels for filtration availability.
